What do you think will be your NBA Finals matchup?

Well, the conference finals are finally here in the NBA, they begin Tuesday in the West. But only two of the four remaining teams can advance to the NBA Finals and go for the trophy. Who will it be in your opinion? Your four choices are up top. Here is how I see it:

In the East: Cavaliers vs. Magic - I have to give credit to the Magic for convincingly knocking off the defending champs. But then again, there was no K.G. this time around for Boston. But LeBron James and the Cavs are well rested, they have home court advantage, and they have cruised through the playoffs. LeBron is just too damn tough, and his supporting cast plays outstanding. Cavaliers in 5. I say in 5 because the Magic will win one game, but it will be at home. The other game at home they're bound to collapse and let LeBron and crew have their way.

In the West: Lakers vs. Nuggets - The Nuggets are the Cinderella story in this whole thing. The Spurs (who are IMO the Lakers's only competition in the West) could've easily been here. Carmello Anthony and Chauncy Billups have taken the Nuggets to new heights, but I don't think it will be enough to stop Kobe Bryant and the supporting cast of the Lakers. The Lakers are way too talented on both ends of the floor and they get the job done. Lakers in 7. It will go down to the wire, but in the end the Lakers will knock off the Nuggets.

So for me, it will be the hyped matchup between the Lakers and Cavaliers. The Kobe vs. LeBron matchup intrigues me the most and it'd be great to end the season with those two.

See you again when the Finals come.

The Nuggets will beat the Lakers. The Lakers are not more talented than the Nuggets. That is clear after the series with Houston who almost won without their two biggest stars Tracy Mcgrady and Yao Ming.

I am actually pulling for The Magic to beat the Cavs, but I think the home court advantage will give it to the Cavs.

Overall, I hope and think the Nuggets will win it all. ( How about that Kurt?! )

      Thanks Tim...

Being a life-ling Nuggets fan, I'm anything but unbiased...But I agree with Tim that the Nuggets have as much talent as anyone. The Lakers have the best player, which is a big advantage, and the better coach with Jackson, another advantage.

But the Nuggets are deeper, and we've gotten to see the Nuggets with BOTH Nene and Kenyon Martin healthy. I'll take Birdman, JR Smith, Carter and Kleiza over any bench in the league.

One thing I like about the Nuggets is they have 3 guys that can take and make game-winning shots: I like Melo, Chauncey or JR Smith to make a game-winner/big shot as much as anyone in the NBA, except for Kobe or Dwayne Wade. Having three big-time clutch shooters is a real plus in tight games...The one knock on Lebron is he doesn't make the game-winners.

I see this series as "even" and the first two games have shown this. It will come down to a play or two to decide the series.

That's the "logical" side...My heart says the Nuggets. (Finally?)

Tough loss tonight. I think they got three happy ( 5 for 27 I think it was ). They don't need to do that.

My mantra is "anyone but LA"

    LeBron over Kobe in 6.

I think we all would like to see Lakers/Cavs in the finals but the Nuggets and the Magic are no pushovers.

Unrelated to the whole thing, apparently the Nuggets and the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) have a huge dispute over the Pepsi Center.

Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals is supposed to be held there on Memorial Day, but so is WWE Monday Night Raw. For me I will be watching WWE provided they don't cancel the show, but somebody is gonna be out of loads of cash.

    Read all about it here.

The Cavs are my hometown team, but wow, what an impressive showing by Orlando.

LaBron will need more of his team mates to contribute if they are going to win the series. His condition at the end of the game only emphasizes the point.

Great game! The two best conference finals in many years. Four terrific games so far.
