Hello there, i was wondering if anybody can help me decrease rendering time in adobe after effects, by any tricks
I make youtube promotional videos for my clients and it takes around 5+ hours to render a 2 minute video.
So every time my client tells me to change something he / she have to wait at least 5 hours to see the change.
Is there any way to solve this ?

Make a low resolution video until the client gives the final ok, that way the low res. videos will render a lot faster. Make sure to tell the client the final video will be a higher res.

^ Yep. More specifically, render the draft version to MP4, and in the MP4 export settings, choose "streaming" instead of "video". Use 15 FPS, and keep the data rate relatively low, and it should render very quickly.

Once the client is happy with the draft and has paid you for the job, then you can spend some time rendering the final product to a high quality quality format (although if I knew a render job was going to take me 5+ hrs, I would definitely do it overnight while I'm sleeping)!
