Just found out about this. Tim Pears is in real trouble health-wise and is collecting donations for a new kidney. I'm sure we can all empathize about what it must feel like.

Tim Pears has been around this forum for a long time, and has been a good contributor. I don't recognize every account name here, but I do recognize Tim's and tend to take a look at what he posts.

Let's see what we can do to help.

WSO IS NOW LIVE AND HERE:

    Out of thanks.

It might be an idea for one of his friends in here to set up a WSO for him. That's what we did for our friend KimW when he needed his transplant. I'm sure plenty of warriors will be willing to donate products to the effort.

I'll sort through and see what I have that I can contribute. Meanwhile - if you post for WSO donations in the main forum, since Tim's been a respected Warrior for awhile now+ and didn't just drop in for social services, the post should ride without interference. If not, we'll have to figure out how to get it to stick in there, because that's where the action is in here.

Meanwhile - my suggestion for you is to get on his profile and recruit Warriors from his "friends" list to help ya out. I don't have any real time to contribute, but I have experience, so give me a shout out whenever you need ideas, and I might be able to help that way (if I'm not into an extended moron moment, I sometimes have one or two ).

May I suggest setting up a Paypal method of payment. I wanted to donate but have zero dollars in my bank account. However, I do have money in Paypal. I will wait until I have money in my bank account in 10 days time and then donate.

I also recommend we set up a special WSO collection as I know people would buy.

Yup, I'm game for setting up a WSO. We need some Warriors to donate their product for it.

I also am not comfy giving my bank account details out over the internet. I'll recommend to Tim that he makes a special donation page and put it in his sig (and in this thread) especially for paypal donations.

Boy, I am going to have to buy this contribution myself, looks like some hell of good stuff being donated.

Edit: Wow, looks like I hit 777 thank yous. What an accomplishment. I know most are just being nice, but it sure does make me feel good.

From Trudy Pears on September 18th, 2013,

    Bad News

Well a few days ago Tim's dialysis access shut down. A catheter was placed in an artery in his neck so he can continue dialysis. Unfortunately, these type accesses tend to get infected, and because they go directly to the artery just outside the heart (in order to be wide enough to collect enough blood), the heart is affected. So there is no way to know how long this access will last.e, and they could not. So that means that if this one fails, there is nowhere else to put it.

It is my understanding that they did this with me, NOT as a permanent biological bypass, but as a temporary artificial one, so they could work on my aorta and still keep me alive. Of course, it isn't as convenient as a normal access.

      I hope he does ok.

YEAH, I KNOW! The kidneys are constantly cleaning the blood, and even promoting the REPLACEMENT of blood. I tend to pick up a lot of things I am exposed to and I worked at one of the largest dialysis companies in the world. So I saw how much it cost, how often it was used, how prices are figured, what epogen is, etc....

And I certainly would NOT ridicule any such person, etc....

Anyway, it turns out that dialysis is far from perfect, but should be used only to help stay alive for a new kidney. It's really the only option out there. The average person has this stuff removed from the blood possibly within SECONDS, and from the body within 8 hours. Blood is monitored CONSTANTLY! On dialysis, BOTH are done like every couple days, and blood is tested sporadically. It just isn't the same.. Unfortunately, many DO die.

Yes, $130,00 is a hell of a lot of money. I am overwhelmed at the money. Was the day tat amount would not worry me, but since then my health and things have taken over and all that money is gone. Now I am reduced to my disability and struggling t make a buck online. But things are looking up cuz I have Warrior friends. And we can do anything.

thanks for all your support folks. If I a ever do anything to repay you, just ask.

    Gave what I could.

A successful donation campaign is going to hinge on the copy. This war is won or lost on that critical battle.

We need to hit the reader between the eyes on the very first shot.

"A Generous Man Is Holding Out For A Hero... Will You Be A Champion, Or A Coward?"

Listen, we know you are aware of Tim's courageous struggle. If you're name isn't on this donation list, everyone is going to be aware of this embarrassing fact.

However, those whose names do appear below will be forever recognized as a true friend of Tim, and we will be eternally in your debt.

I must admit this copy would be a bit aggressive, but we're not playing tiddlywinks here.

For copy like that, some might decide NOT to give. For the record, I DID give. The page allowed me to give special directions for the payment, etc... but I never even entered my username there. I haven't tried to get any credit that way. But some here might LIKE the somewhat anonymous ability here. YEAH, I know I met dozens of people here, even maybe a dozen in real life, etc... but STILL...

Is there ANYONE in the civilized world that doesn't know how important a kidney is?
HECK, I didn't know that it regulated red blood cells, but I STILL knew it was very important.

To be frank, some might not believe, some might not care, etc.... People asking for money, no offense, are not automatically considered an honest group.

If I told you about some ads that I have seen, and the whopper lies I have seen, you would believe me ONLY because they are so prevalent that you have likely seen them yourself.

Well, cancer is bad. Hopefully the cancer was ONLY in that one kidney. I DO wish you and yours the best. The only real things you have to worry about with ONE kidney removed, generally, are if your system will tax one kidney, or if you lose the other. Otherwise, it really isn't as bad as losing your last good kidney. That is why Kim worked so hard, and tim is working so hard, to get to merely where your wife is.

Still, there comes a time when aggression can backfire, and I REALLY think the copy you suggested crossed that line. Did YOU know that there is ACTUALLY a group of websites on the internet that STRONGLY encourages humiliating and trying to destroy other people? I shouldn't even mention this, but.... WHY do they do that? They write the people attacked, and offer them to see, and maybe fix, the information for a fee!

Your suggestion borders on what THEY are doing.

Don't worry about it. Where emotions run high, aggression comes out. I blew chow all over the thread in the main forum last night, too - not just aggressive, but actually got very cliche about it. After I changed the original post Paul was nice enough to delete the post that had the original quoted. LMAO. My aggressiveness didn't bother me because this is a dire situation - but seeing how cliche I had gotten was a real wake up slap. .

Lesson: Don't type while tired and stressed. Sleep on it - then come back and threaten people with some class and unique style.

Thanks, that WAS far better. 7% is WAY too much for EITHER side. BTW has he taken measures to make sure the GOVERNMENT knows it is a gift to prolong his life? We wouldn't want him to be charged with a huge tax bill.

I have to defend them a bit. They justify that fee as card processing fees come to almost 3%, and then the rest is overhead. So, I don't know how that breaks I had no other ideas/alternatives. I have about $200 in the bank, if am lucky. any money I make in IM goes right back into it.

Just cleaned out my PayPal account, hope it helps!

        All the best!

        Shane

PS might be able to offer a product as well, but l am having issues trying to log into my Hostgator site builder!

With the product, do you want the product only or, the whole sales page with affiliate comm, at 100% so you only need the affil, link and it all goes to his PayPal account?

Not sure exactly what you mean by product?

I do have a WSO, that did well, and the whole thing is set up except l have to load the products up again, and am waiting for Hostgator to give me a link to the site.

So all you have to do is get the affil, link and you get 100% percept of the profits. Seems to be the quickest and most profitable way to offer a product, but let me know, if you require a different format.

The files are quite large, so if you just want the product, l would need to load them up to another storage site first.

Also it might be a good idea to post how much money has been generated to this cause, other sites, trying to reach monetary amounts, have done this, and it seems to motivate people.

Anyway hope l have helped, and it all goes well.

Feedback: #1 I gave cash - to Paypal. When I went to the site that charges 7% I balked. The $7 was on $100 which is the default gift. 7% is a bit different but still stinks. 1-2% ok - but 7% is just bogus. As soon as I saw the Paypal link I was in.

#2 High pressure 'copy' that attempts to shame someone into giving is really just offensive - it has the opposite affect as was intended. Don't do it.

Good luck in helping Tim reach the monumental amount required. I am hoping there will be another solution that becomes possible - and I can hardly believe that there will not be a life-saving alternative right here in the US and that he will not need to go to Mexico - it is yet another US disgrace if he does...

In the US, about 8 years ago, an operation like this would be covered under insurance, and you would often be expected to pay around 20%, of the CONTRACTED fee. The HARD part here is getting a tissue match! When I had MY operation, it cost close to $300K, as I recall. I think the contracted fee was closer to $150K, so I had to pay like $30K. The contract fee, in my case is often about half of what the hospital charges. I was lucky they only replaced my valve. If they had to replace my heart, I would likely be DEAD!

Maybe .75% of the us might have a compatible tissue type. I have a rare blood type, to start with. So there MIGHT be a bit over 2 million people in the US. How many of those would die around the time I would need one?

Maybe tim has a more popular blood type or something BUT, even if he did, another potential recipient may be ahead of him on "the list". It is a bad system. It STINKS! BUT, since those that run it can't care about the people they know nothing about, how could anyone improve it?

HECK, a little girl recently found she would DIE because she was off of "THE list", and on another list ONLY for those up to 12 years old. They made a change, for ONE year, to allow her to get on "THE lung list", and she managed to be saved. Of course that ALSO could HURT chances for some 12 and older!

Steve, I don't remember my blood type, but it is pretty common as I recall. I don' have the option of waiting and doing this in the USA. I have fond a hospital in Mexico tat an go to and they will find me a live donor in about two weeks. A live donor is always better, so this is good for me. They have a fixed cost ad I will need something above $120,000 depending on how long I have to stay there.

But I agree with you totally. Medicine in the USA could use some efficiencies built in. d the legislation has not helped it.

They have a fixed cost ad I will need something above $120,000 depending on how long I have to stay there.

But I agree with you totally. Medicine in the USA could use some efficiencies built in. d the legislation has not helped it.
REMEMBER though! The us has some IDIOTIC LAWS! Some make things cost more, and actually HURT the outcome! There ARE some GOOD laws though. For example, I can't give blood because I take a blood thinner. Although it sounds stupid, my blood WOULD affect the clotting of someone and could hurt an operation, or make bruising worse. So I can understand it. ALSO, they don't want homosexuals to give blood because of aids. People that have been in GB for a time are excluded because of mad cow, etc...

Organs have similar laws. Be as sure as you can be that the donor is healthy. Things you DON'T have to think much about in the US become things you really SHOULD care about in places like Mexico.

BTW blood type is the primary factor. So if you had the most popular blood type in the US, you would have like 20+ potential candidates for every one I had. The ONLY problem with having a popular blood type, is that there may also be far more ahead of you. If we were the only two on the list, and they found a match for me, I would get it, and if they found one for you, you would get it, as the two would be different.

Shane is right about giving an educated goal, and the current amount donated. Most hospitals, in the US, ironically enough, NEVER really give you an estimate. You're lucky if they even mention an IDEA of one. FURTHER, to complicate matters, they never learned about effiiciencies of bundling and a central resource.

IDEALLY, they would offer a potential estimate. They DON'T!
IDEALLY, they would have all resources funneled through the hospital, and charge you ONCE. They DON'T! The hospital, ambulance, radiologist, doctors, anesthesiologist, etc... may all bill SEPARATELY!

FOR THE RECORD, even DIALYSIS, even at the same place and day, can cost VERY different amounts for different cases. A person could go on monday and then wednesday or thursday it could cost nearly twice as much.

ANOTHER thing, make sure they ALL bill insurance. With all the stupidity flying around, they may forget to, and you are given a bill that is quite large but for something you didn't expect, and you pay it thinking it is small.

What kind of time-line are we working with here?

I was going to do a viral marketing experiment within the traffic exchange community, where people can rebrand an ebook with their own referral links links and build their downline.

I can re-purpose the campaign to help Tim, and take the fight outside the Warrior forum.

Now, I can wait and either promote the WSO, or link to the donation page you made.

The reason I'm asking, in case your wondering, a coordinated effort is better than an un-coordinated effort any day of the week.

Another strategy to take this fight beyond these forum boundaries...

I'm not linked into the social media community, but perhaps we can weigh some poor guy or gal down with products, and take advantage of the pay with a tweet service.

      OMGosh!

I'm sorry I wasn't able to help you guys kick this off! I was down flat with this dang pneumonia and missed it.

But this pneumonia is nothing compared to what Tim is going through. I donated what I could as soon as I read this and I posted in his thread in the Main Forum too.

I must say though, I am not surprised at how you all took action and went all out to help a fellow Warrior! Heck, it's just one of the things that make you all so special.

Terra, thank you so much. I would have hit the thanks button, but my thanks has been removed from both threads for some reason, so i have to thank yo this way.

Not sure why my thanks buttons are missing in both of these threads people set up for me. Butt I guess Alan has some rule I am unaware of.

          You're welcome, Tim!

I only wish it could have been more. But there will be more. I have determined to give you ten percent of every order I get until you have met your goal.

Obviously I can't tell you how much that will be or how many clients will be ordering something or something more, but as I said, 10 percent of it is yours.

Oh, regarding your thanks. We have a minimum we can use in a 24 hour period time, then they run out. Perhaps that is what happened as opposed to having your thanks disabled?

          Just a guess.

A post has to be up for several minutes before you can use thanks. The clock is likely off from your local time. ALSO, there is a limit as to how many you can give per day or whatever. Outside of that, I doubt you are restricted.

David, I am planning to get the WSO up mid-week. I have 5 or 6 products on the list, but don't physically have possession of them all yet, and welcome more.

There is a lot to this: I need to come up with a theme (think I have one), write the copy, set up the delivery page and coordinate with all the people who are providing a product. And it cannot be rushed and suck.

And I have my own business to run.

My copy is converting at around 9-10%. It took me a couple uninterrupted hours to make the banner (OK that took 10 minutes--green is the color of healing!) and write the copy last night. We have had almost 200 views in the past 24 hours. One fine fella who has posted in this thread contributed quite a large donation (thank you!), according to Tim. And we are all making a real difference here!

This thread started getting the word out, and then others took it to the main forum which gets a lot more traffic. So we are getting hits from several threads, and even Bob Ross' forum!

I wish there was a way of automating this part, so everyone knows. I checked the PayPal just a few minutes ago and it is at just shy of $700. $690 something, I forget the exact amount.

I just don't know how to thank Jason and everyone who has supported this so far. Warriors are always wonderful people. I asked for help with my copy, and I get that and so more. It is just tooo unbelievable.

      Tim,

Please allow me to say that I am so impressed with you!

$135,000 is a daunting amount of money needed to get you well and although the $1000 that has been donated isn't even quite 10 % of that, you come in the thread and thank everyone personally.

It is so obvious that you are indeed truly thankful and that your countenance hasn't dropped a bit. I find that very refreshing!

Thank you for your support. You might want to help by posting my give forward appeal to your Facebook page. The URL is http://www.giveforward.com/fundraise...idney-for-tim/
Or, Jason's promotion page. Either one would help spread it around outside of the Warrior Forum.

I have to stay positive and motivated. I have lived way longer than my expected life span, and I believe i am able to get up every morning is because I believe I will. And I do not have the luxury of not being positive. I am constantly popping off with funny stuff as laughter is important. And my wfe says it is my job to keep her laughing.

I made a plea on my page before the new page was up - gonna go like and share yours. Somehow that seems like it might help more than putting the link up on my own again. Not sure if that's right or not.

If anyone has this new page on their twitter - get your twitter name to me and I'll retweet it. For some reason I have it in my head that if people pass on info that other people have shared it kinda shows that there is general support for a cause. That might be totally stupid, but I'm sure people will be very quick to let me know if it is. That's one of the reasons I love this place

Well, Claude, I am not blasting back at you or Sal but I do have to share how I'm feeling right now. This is for everyone who wants to know where we're at. I do have to run a business; it has been a whopping 4 days since I started this effort; I just received the 7th product this morning. In fact, people are still PMing me about contributing. There has to be a cutoff at some point, though, and it was last night. But I still do not have all the products.

So, a WSO theme/message has to be picked (done), copy written--and not lousy copy--after understanding what these products are, the delivery for the disparate products has to be set up (unprotected page? membership site? do we have to worry about blackhatters? how much work DOES this really require of me before I'm overdoing it?), and many more small things like having Tim send me the codes for a couple buttons...

...this is not something that is to be thrown together overnight. Though I do have it on my schedule to work on the copy tonight.

"Can't you just write some copy and get it up there?" Sure. And if it sucks, it will fail. And if the customers can't get their products, they'll be upset. We saw this with Ken Strong's WSO, where one or two prominent Warriors never delivered on their promises. That is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN this time. Only what I have is what is going to be sold...and I don't even know what I have yet because it is still coming in.

So No. It is not going to be instant. Successful WSOs often take weeks or months to prepare. I am doing this within one week. While I run a business and do everything else I have to do...and wait for people to get their products over.

I have received many, MANY PMs, morning noon and night, and even frankly stupid ones ("Why does Tim need a kidney? Why doesn't his insurance cover it? What happened to Obamacare?")--as if I am responsible for these things, and for doing other people's homework.

So please, have a care and give me a minute.

As far as things "going slowly", you are dealing with the Warrior Forum. Warriors are, in general, not wealthy. They don't have a lot of extra cash to donate. The fact at 9-10% of visitors to the paypal page are actually donating is great. That many visitors are there just to steal the copy (yes, they are, because it converts) is also a fact.

I understand that we would all like the WSO up. I ask you to remember it has only been a few days, most people are slow contributing their products (Claude and a couple others being exceptions) and there is a lot to this. Probably more than you think. I don't even yet know what some of these products are, and I will have to understand them before I can write about them. So if it takes a couple more days, there's a reason. Make sense?

Jason, don't forgo your own business to help me. I appreciate all the hard work you have put into this, never forget that.

But you must have a family to support, and they come first. So don't neglect them to help me.

As far as why doesn't ObamaCare take care of this, well, I am on Medicare, and good ol' Medicare will not cover my dialysis or any other treatments (surtgery) outside of the country. My local transplant facility turned me down due to lack of blod flow, just a week after my cardiac surgeon confirmed I did have plenty of blood flow for a transplant. Go figure.

So, I have to go to Mexico to get my transplant. We were figuring about $120,000 for fees and the rest is to cover fees and a cushion.

Hope that answers most folks questions. If folks want more questions answered, please contact me and not Jason.

Well, I am the one that put together most of Ken's wso. I have no idea what you are referring too when it comes to promises not being fulfilled. You seem to know a lot about what happened in the background even though I really don't know you.

It took us less than a week to put together Ken's (while working on my own business) and we did around 10k when all said and done. It ran for a long time.

I say this to give people an idea of what to expect when running this type of offer. In order to hit 130k, you are talking high priced products and a lot of people mailing the offers. Take that into account when spending time on this.

There's an idea..."a lot of people mailing the offers"
What if we all emailed the WSO offer to our lists, wouldn't that give a boost to the figure?

That would help, no doubt. I had thought it might be a good idea to put this on WSOPro or JVZoo, but jason thought not.

Anyway, I just came here to report PayPal balance: $1,394.64 USD. Much appreciated, it is getting into the realm of real money. More than 1% of the way.

A friend said he was going to add this to his WSO and all who bought the first day, he would match, up to $2,000. so that is one generous guy. So thanks Ron Rule.

Maybe there were 2 or more WSOs to help Ken? This one was the Offline Brat Pack.

Jason, Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make this task easier in some way.
I have zero technical abilities so I don't know what I can do but the offer is there.
Take a few deep breaths. I know nobody is having a go at you. I think that everyone is just concerned about Tim. It would be far easier if people simply donated and we didn't even need to create a WSO.

Keep your chin up Jason. We all respect what you are doing immensely.

It's just going to take time, and Thank YOU for your contribution, Laurence.

      Some time requirements:

Understanding these products (I mean just having quick look at them to ensure the zip files I got aren't corrupted...the files actually open...what they sent me is what they meant to send...what the heck is it...): probably 2-3 hours.

Creating a delivery method: 2-3 hours. Maybe more because I have to upload all the products.

Writing copy: 2 hours for draft, another 2 hours for editing.

Posting WSO: $40 of my cash, Tim won't have to pay for that, and I have also donated already, and another 30-60 minutes of screwing around to make sure everything fits correctly and the buttons work right.

And I have probably underestimated everything. So add on another 2 hours for slush time and we are at 10-12 or more hours. If this was all I had to do and I had all the products, yup I could be done in a day. But that is not the case.

Along the way, I get more PMs and have to respond to most of them. Not the stupid ones. I have gotten 2 in the time I've written these past 2 messages.

And I know all the technical stuff and I'm fast.

      Food for thought.

Well Jason, I can do one thing to help. Let me know how and I will pay for the WSO to be listed. Is it easier for me to send you the money in Paypal?
At least there is a cost you don't have to fork out.
I have already donated money and a WSO too but you shouldn't have to pay out the WSO fee.

Don't worry folks, the $40 is not an issue I assure you. If only all my problems could be solved by throwing a little money at them... ;-)

Just want you to get an idea of what's involved here. It's a whole lot more than "Let's get a WSO up!"

Now I do not want to spend my time here when I've booked it to work on the WSO. So I'll be off.

OK I've spent the past couple hours going through what we've got, and here it is so you can know, too. Quite a range of things to please any marketer. Made a spreadsheet to manage them all and what I have to do.

Claude Whitacre has contributed a special can of marketing whoop-ass in a huge compilation of local marketing talks and pdfs. This thing is so big, it's, like, scary. I'm trying to wrap my head around all of the content. Think it'll be the centerpiece of the WSO.

Dez Futak has contributed two pieces of software. The first is Offline Snatcher, and the second is SMS Magi Elite. I'm waiting for my confirmation to come back on Offline Snatcher to find out more about it, but SMS Magi Elite is what it sounds like. For the real estate & car dealerships markets.

SShip is contributing her own time for Reconstructive Healing sessions. These will be delivered 1-on-1 by skype or email.

HeySal has contributed a report called Building Illusions: How and Why We Think Like We Do.

Laurencewins is contributing a series of reports on freelancing success.

J Bold has contributed Email Assassin Secrets.

David Maschke is contributing a report on success mindset.

Liz Tomley is contributing a big video compilation about traffic, blogging, email marketing, list building and more.

Sbucciarel has contributed a whole ton of niche website templates that are customizable. Minisites, here we come!

Sarevok is contributing reports on listbuilding and myths in IM that need to be dispelled.

JackTackett has contributed reports on registering and defending your copyrights. Important things to know when you're a product creator.

Tagiscom is contributing reports and videos on Freelancing Your Way to Wealth.

Terry Ivers has contributed a Kindle Content product with lots of reports.

SuperDJ is contributing his "Reclaim Motivation" report.

Dave147 has contributed 47 Adsense training products.

Matthew North has contributed his Telesales Assassin report.

I am contributing my Under The Gun sales training product in Level 1, and Sales Judo in Level 2.

Thank you all for your amazing contributions!!

That is what I have for now. There may be a couple of stragglers whose products I have not received yet. If your name & product isn't on the above list, but we have already talked, please PM or email me. If I missed you, apologies--I have a ton of PMs and emails from the last few days...please remind me of your contribution.

I have now looked briefly through all the content I have, and checked that all the items work the way they're supposed to. I know what I have to do to deliver them to buyers.

Next step is to figure out how to divide these into two groups, because I believe $27 and $57 levels will be effective. Then I can hash out the copy that is gelling in my head.

    Fun process, isn't it?

Jason, that is quite a collection. I am gonna have to buy this myself, but I will only be able to afford the $27 one I think. Money is a bit tight here for me, but I can't resist that group.

Will you use an affiliate program to bolster distribution? That seems to boost revenues more than it cuts into profits i believe. don't want to sound greedy, just curious.

I will never be able to repay you Jason, thank you for all your hard work.

I don't think any of the contributors would have wanted to give their products and services if you weren't going to get a copy, Tim. You are going to get a login and you are NOT going to have to pay for it. Everyone will agree with me that you paying for your own fundraising WSO would be silly.

Now that I mentally have a handle on what needs to be done, it is a mechanical process.

I'm not sure about an affiliate program. Seems contradictory for a fundraising WSO. I would not offer the standard 50%+ for these figures; no way.

Well that is very nice. I never thought about the money going to me. I am so silly. No sense giving Paypal more money I guess. :p

Just thought I would ask about the affiliates. It seems to work for WSO sellers, so who knows. Even a smaller commission, beings it is a fund raiser. Who knows. You are the marketer, I am still a newbie in training.

Tim - If Jason doesn't give you a free copy of my ebook, you just pm me and I'll give it to you.

If the 27 is just going back into your own paypal anyways, so you don't lose a dime on it......I'd be hella surprised if anyone objected to you having a copy of their donation. Got to have something to read in that hospital room, after all, now, doncha? I'll even throw in a copy of my "white teeth" report (if I can find it, LOL), so you can look purty smilin' when you get back.

Jason - not sure why I was included in your post? If I said something that sounded like I was rushing you, it's not what I intended. All I wanted to know is if we had some good donations coming in.

I think you may be referring to Kim's WSO - Warrior All Stars - that eventually imploded (the link is gone) some of the principles in that were also with the offline deal that had the scandal. (not related to Warrior All Stars) So not sure how far my fragments land at being the reality but that is what i suspect the reference is to - maybe not, maybe there were 2 Ken WSOs and i have spaced that.

Kim - as I said, it was not about your WSO, but just someone who helped put it together had some other WSO where there was a dispute.

Stone pointed out to me that the link in my signature was dead - and I tried it a few times and it said 'file not found'. I tried to find out what happened. Now I know -so that is what happens when WSO's "close' or "expire'? 'file not found'? I didn't know - I have never put one on. I am sorry that it sounded like the alledged 'improprieties' were with Warrior All Stars WSO. (Please see where I edited the post to make that more clear).

Then coincidentally I think I asked where someone was and was told he was banned and to 'google' it - i found references to some offline sub-forum in WF and the issue I believe was there - and there was really nothing new but that is what made me put that all together.

(really very old issues with the WF haters that have blogs and some axe to grind with some particular few warriors and there were lots of both cryptic and overt allegations).

Sorry if I didn't communicate that well in the first place and probably don't make much more sense now - i knew somebody would correct me if i was wrong and I guess putting it all out on the table I had hoped someone would explain...

OK folks...we are going to have a real professional WSO for Tim. Only products that have been received by me will be included--no waiting for some to arrive. Everything promised is ready to go and WILL be delivered.

I finished the membership site last night: so the "delivery" method is done.

There are more details than you would believe...banners, logos, login pages, getting links to work correctly...all this is now done.

Does anyone know about Paypal Instant Payment Notification and how to hook it up to s2member? I could probably do this for my own account, as I think I have the settings right; however, the buy buttons need to be from Tim's Paypal account, not mine. Do we have an expert who can volunteer to work with Tim and I to set these buttons up so that buyers can be sent immediately to the registration page at the appropriate membership level (there are 2)?

Otherwise I will have to do manual registrations, which are incredibly time-consuming...especially if a ton of people DO buy as expected.

Now on to the copy. I hope to have the draft finished tonight. Several coaching calls between then and when I can start working on it. Quite a group of products (16 total).

The Warrior who generously donated his time and expertise to help us out with auto-registration (getting Paypal to tell the site what the buyer bought, and taking them to a registration page) was sf_Imtiaz. Much appreciated!

The membership content was ready but I needed some help with that last highly technical hurdle, so it could be automated and not take up time (imagine having to manually set up an account for everyone who buys--AAAAAAA!). Just so you folks know, that one detail needed the attention from all 3 of us for 2-1/2 hours. There are many such details in putting this together. Now all that's left (all! lol) is the copy. So we'll see the WSO up soon.

Hi Sal, tried the Paypal donation link, and it initially gave the timeout connection, try again, (which happens occasionally) then l refreshed the page and it bought up a "unable to connect text" on a white screen.

Sigh. Yes. I know it works. I thought someone made a new page to promote the non-paypal donations. From everyone's confusion, I'm thinking that this is the right one for non-paypal.

LMAO. I have to stop staying up so late. It seems the later I stay up, the harder it is for people to understand what I am trying to say. I"m sure that's everyone's fault but mine....right?

Yeah it does. What I'm asking is if that is STILL the right NON-PAYPAL LINK? or is there a newer one? I thought I saw that someone was going to put up a different one. Maybe they just re-wrote the page?

Yes Sal, that site is still going. This one Jason put together is separate, but both are active. Hope that was what you were asking. They are both PayPal driven, I don't know of any other way. Even if I did have a merchant account, there are always fees to be paid. It is just the nature of the game.

But just wanted to update everyone on today's results. Looks like we generated more than $100 in the last 24. PayPal balance: $1647.11 USD in total. thanks for everyone's support.

Thanks, Tim. I didn't realize they were both paypal. I donated before Jason did the other donation page and used a CC so didn't realize it was driven by paypal. That's been my concern when people say PayPal is that some people don't have that where they are but might want to donate.

I'm probably confused because someone was going to pay me for some gemstone through paypal once and couldn't do it because they didn't have a PP account. Since they didn't trust online they weren't about to open one, so it had to come to me via mail.

I'm technically challenged - don't mind me. Just make it real clear when we get new links and I'll keep posting those. LOL.

      Hi HeySal,

People don't need to have a PayPal account. They can pay via PayPal with a credit or debit card as well without having to open an account.

Yeah, I'm not sure that FB is the best place for this one. A lot of people there don't trust this kind of thing. I saw some pretty crude remarks about "scams" when we did Kim's page. It's sad. I can understand people's reservations, but it is still very sad. It's just damned hard to know who to help anymore. That might be why the money is easier to raise in tight-knit communities like this one where there are a lot of people who know someone well enough to back them.

All right, I can finally come up for air...LOTS of "fulfillment work" with client groups this week. I'm still doing some NOW. Not to mention my wife's birthday, too.

So I'll publicly state it and commit myself: I plan to get the copy completed by TONIGHT, and send it around to a few key people for edits and suggestions.

Once the feedback is absorbed, I can post the WSO for approval. So we should see it up by Monday. As Tim and a couple other people know all the back-end stuff, membership site, delivery etc. is all DONE. That has taken 6-7 hours...and Tim was there for 2-1/2 of 'em just to help with a little of the registration process.

In the meantime, don't forget that the BILLS DON'T STOP FOR TIM...please donate.

Can't remember where I saw it, Laurence - it was a long time ago during Kim's fundraiser for his transplant. It has to be expected. Anything that is done here on the forum that gets out on the net meets with some haters here and there. It's the nature of the beast. If you see one, just post your objection and support for the fundraiser and don't let it slow ya down. The same people who do those posts are the ones who think that Paul Myers, Jack Tackett, Allen Says, Tiffany Dow, Alexa Smith, myself and a few others are all one person. LMAO.

Let em hate. With packages I just saw for the WSO - they might just sneak in to buy regardless the crap that's oozing from their pie holes. LMAO.

Yes, there is a hater out there (I'm doing something right) who has been trying lamely to draw traffic to his hate blog by using the names of myself and other prominent Warriors. This person never bought a product from me, and has even about-faced lately saying that maybe I DO have expertise (but we should ignore that fact and hate me anyway).

He says I'm appearing as some kind of disgusting 'savior' figure by helping Tim.

    How pathetic is that.

I'm certain he has mental sickness, and would never be found doing anything for anyone else. Mostly I just ignore him. He can get away with slandering me and others anonymously--if we shut down one site, he just sets another one up. He can write lies and no one can counter them because they are on his site. There are things he has out-and-out lied about: for instance, my youtube channel has NEVER been down. NEVER. Fortunately, his readership is tiny. So let him be a coward hiding in the shadows, with no expertise, no ability to help anyone, and no friends. If you have to rely on hate traffic from someone else's site for your income, that is really, really sad. I'm sure this post will appear next on his "blog". These are the things that can happen when you go by your real name on a public forum. Moving on...

Anyway, thanks everyone and to the folks I sent the draft around to review. I have submitted the thread and we're ready to go!

5 hours on the copywriting, and we did get some graphics packages donated by one more generous Warrior! This is not a "normal" WSO because it's not built around one product: we have something like 20+.

We have a terrific set of marketing packages, leading to the theme: the Marketing Health Spa

All the money goes directly to Tim, and if you want to buy now you can go to the site at http://www.timpearswso.howtomakesales.org

He's got nothin'. And we've got work to do, so let him just stew in his own little misery. He's not going to find it fun if he ever needs help.

Not sure why no one has bought yet. Are you afraid because it's not a WSO page? The Membership Signup page, which you get to by the Buy Now link at the bottom of the Home page copy, is exactly the same page you will go to from the WSO.

Upon receipt of your $27 or $57 donation, you will receive an email with a link to set up your membership account.

If you have already donated these amounts or more and are unable to donate again, please PM or email me jason (at) sales-on-fire (dot) com your receipt and I will set up an account for you at the appropriate level.

      Jason,

Do you mean I should say that I donated a streaming media PLR pack that is an unadvertised bonus?

If so, I'm wondering how I would be the first poster in the thread stating such without sounding or looking like I'm saying "Look at me, look at me."

I had a different angle than what you suggested here...I would just go in and say something like this is a legit cause, you're supporting it and hope others do, too. That's about it.

So far we have had 30-odd clickthrus to the Membership Signup page but no purchases. I have recently made a couple small changes to the WSO page at the end to explain what's going on.

Many people don't like to be First. They wait around for others to show them "It's OK."

Most viewers of the WSO will have never heard of Tim, or any of us for that matter. They will wonder if it's a legitimate need or not. They will wonder if it's a scam.

If a number of us go and post that it IS a legitimate need, that we've been talking about it over here, and that we support the WSO, then the others waiting around will see that. Then they may buy.

Note how the successful WSOs get testimonials right up front. Sometimes these are BS ones by affiliates. Sometimes, which is the path I go by, they are actual client testimonials. Either way, they make new visitors more comfortable about buying.

Anyone who donated a product, please PM me with your email address and I will set you up with an account. Then you can look around and give a full review on what's there. People need to see that.

EDIT: Tim has gone in there and written a post, and that is a great start.

    THIS IS THE REAL DEAL!!!!

If anybody has reservations of any kind, ask questions and we will answer them.
Every cent helps. This WSO package will help in a huge way if we can get lots of sales.
If you can't afford to buy the WSO today, consider donating a smaller amount to help Tim. His need is desperate and his life is currently under threat!!!

I think that sales would increase if we put up our sales videos, or more info, on the WSO thread, so customers can see just how good these products really are.

The more people can see that these aren't some crappy products we found from our hard disks, but real, high quality stuff that can make a real financial difference to their lives as well as Tims, the better!

Are we allowed to donate PLR, or does it have to be WSO based?

I have quite a few great products, that l could add to the pile, but only if l don't get in Dutch with the mods?

Let me know when to turn it off and I will.

Not sure what you mean by "PLR or WSO based." If you have the rights to resell it, then it should be fine.

EVERYONE who donated, it would be very helpful if you could go into the WSO thread and post that your product is NOT "very old".
The WP Underconstruction App download link, or links should be deleted this Wednesday, (your time). I will leave the time up to you?

But put the Traffic Mastermind product on the Tagiscom download page. I will permanently leave that one.

I mentioned the PLR ones, because l am not sure l could show or describe the products on the WSO thread, without the Mods getting huffy about it. One of the WSO rules is you have to create it yourself!

Could be a great way to increase sales, but only if it is ok, to do? Or ok, to post stuff you have the rights to, but didn't create yourself?
