From Jason Kanigan,

Click here for his donation page Just scroll down to see the Paypal button, it's there!

You can read more about Tim here, but please DO NOT DONATE THRU THIS LINK as they take 7% from every donation. If we donate, we want Tim to receive what we are actually donating.

  • This is (one) of the reasons why I love this forum so much.

    Off to check it out...
  • Thanks Jodi! I had no idea things were this IMMEDIATELY urgent when I posted the other thread. Obviously, time is an essence so immediate donations are needed......

Still - there will be accumulating costs so here's the the info on the WSO I posted in the other thread:

Warrior Jason Kanigan, is setting up an emergency WSO fundraiser. For those of you who have seen Warrior WSO fundraisers - it's time to get excited........they are ALWAYS extremely value packed - give something, get a heck of a lot type offers.

If you have products you can donate to help save Tim, or can help in any way on the WSO, products, promotion, funds, whatever you can do or think of, please contact Jason. His user name is Jason Kanigan, his name, just to save you the search.

  • Here's the real Tim Pears,

    • I am going to kill you. Did you have to post that BIG picture of me. That is why I use the smily face for my picture.

I love the prominent pay my gut sticks out there. I need a treadmill bad.

  • Hope the donations will be raised, and he will be well...

    • People - if you can't afford major amounts - give at least a cup o' jo small if it's all ya got. If 10,000 people buy him a cup of coffee worth of donations, that's going to really add up with those that actually can afford the donation! We got to get that counter moving fast.
      • [1] reply
  • Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully he can get the medical help he needs.
  • Trudie Pears - wife
  • You guys need to come up with a very creative publicity effort that extends far beyond this forum. What that is, I have no idea. Perhaps others reading this can come up with something.

Why exactly doesn't he qualify to be on the kidney list here in the US?
    • [1] reply
    • Dub, Warriors have done fundraising WSOs (including myself) for fellow Warriors in the past. I am doing what I am able, and what I am good at.

Anyone with a product to contribute, please PM me.
    • [DELETED]
  • I'm off to make my donation.

This is a prime example of every little bit will help!!!!

Whatever you can afford is enough....if we all do what we can, Tim will be all set.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [1] reply

    • That's where I had to go with it, too, Jacqueline. Maybe I can do more later, but this blinsided me at a real bad time - still, we all have to do what we can. How much will that extra few bucks matter when the choices are give, and cheer his safe and healthy return, or worry about a few bucks and have to deal with an obituary hitting the forum? I saw that happen not long enough ago. Another 60 or 70 grand may have changed that. I will do what is in my power not to see that come down on another Warrior.

It's up to us. We CAN prevent it if everyone does even just a little. Give up a coffee or a couple of sodas this week.

What it all boils down to right now is that notification has been given, and if we don't do this, which, together we certainly and easily can - we're going to lose a good friend. Live with that.
  • I have set up a donation page for those wishing to donate by Paypal. The original page Tim links to requires you to donate from your bank account. I'm sure there are many people like myself who do not like giving bank account info over the internet; also, the other site charges a 7% processing fee (robbery!).

    http://www.howtomakesales.org/timskidney

The writing is also much more effective. I am going to put that link in my signature.

Yes, the paypal Donate button on that page comes from Tim, and the funds go directly into his paypal account. I host the page, but the money goes to Tim Pears.

    • Jason...the "donate" button doesn't seem to be working for me... (or, maybe it's just me?)

    • The OP has been adjusted with the correct link to reflect this change. Thanks a million Jason!

      • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • Just donated what I could with good thoughts heading to him and his family.

  • Very sad thing to hear, I dont know Tim personally but I truly hope he can pull through this. Best wishes

    • Well done to all those decent enough to donate. I noticed Tim hadn't been around much, it's very sad to see him like this.

If you see this Tim, you have all my best wishes.

  • Maybe Tim would be better off creating some product and asking affiliates for help
    • [1] reply
    • I did that once, and it turned out to be a bid failure. Even though I teamed up with a good coach to write my product, the stuff he was teaching me was transcribed into a product and I put it up for sale. It bombed big time and I recovered almost what I put into posting fees. I think it was mainly due to my sales letter sucked. But I am not a copy writer and I did the best I could.

You can see it here. http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...l-works.html#1
  • Maybe it's takeout night in your household. Why not take that cash and donate to a good cause rather than a nice treat? I have never met Tim, but I made a donation. Every bit helps.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Done last night.

    I wish him the best....

  • Great job with the donations, everyone!

But thanks everyone for your support. Warriors are wonderful folks. I visit other forums from time to time, and I never see this type of camaraderie.
    • [ 14 ] Thanks
  • With more than half a million member, there's no reason we can't get enough donations if you also add whatever will be made from the sale of the super WSO we are trying to put together.
I am unwell myself and on a pension but I donated money AND a WSO.
So come on everyone else...what's really stopping you?
and don't say it's because you don't know Tim. I didn't before this and I donated.
A warrior in need is enough reason to donate!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Lawrence, you are a real Warrior, and I can't thank you enough for your help.
  • You're welcome Tim. As a team, we can create miracles to help our fellow warriors!
  • BUMP.

This is NOT going to go to the second page - you might as well donate, because we're gonna make you look at it EVERY TIME you click onto this forum until we've raised the money to get Tim off into surgery and home so ya might as well start forkin' over NOW.

  • Just shy of 1,000 thread views so far....

Surely he has gotten quite a few donations so far?
    • [2] replies
    • Not everyone who views the thread can or wants to donate.

Some have just come in to see what all the fuss is about.

That being said, about 1 in 4 has actually clicked through to the paypal donation page. Around 9-10% of the page visitors are clicking the donate button. We have even gotten some clickthrus from Bob Ross's offline forum.

As for what they are donating, that info isn't visible to me. Tim would have to share that with us.

    • There are a ton of people in the WSO section who are apparently making $10,692.43/day and such. I'm very much out of the loop here, but if I had the clout, I'd urge a temporary raise in the WSO listing price by $10-$20.
      • [ 4 ] Thanks
    • Said exactly what I was thinking.

I get that there are ALOT of causes out there...you can't be everything to everyone....where Tim needs a kidney, there are hundreds/thousands of people who need one as well.

To me, this is more about community than anything else (no offense, Tim )....

Tim provided some pretty awesome posts and insights--that, like you said--many consumed free of charge. He never asked for anything in return.

Geeze...had it not been for the few who rallied around a Warrior in his time of need, I'd really re-consider this community big time....

P.s. With the plethora of WSOs with titles touting thousands earned in a matter of days, you'd get the impression that we had tons of millionaires walking among us.

      P.s.s. Bump
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I wouldn't like to click off this page without donating but I'm just not able to.

The least I can do is bump this thread. All the best.
  • [DELETED]
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • It is. I think maybe for awhile some of the more knowlegeable warriors who get hit up for free help should insist on a verification of donation number before giving their advice away for free.

If they understood how hard some of the people who donated are struggling to survive, yet were able to cough up a few bucks for an urgent cause, it might make them realize there is more to everything than "how much money can I get today" "who can give me free what I should be paying for".

This is paying it forward and the WF would have never become the place it is today if members hadn't always been there for doing so. Starting to look like WF is degenerating, for the most part outside of a few of the older core group, into another DP wastebasket. Wonder how many shammers will be in the forum sobbing about google slapping down their latest sham.

Guess I'll go back to the OT where people are still humans and not elecromagnetically charged automaton.
  • I'd love to know how many have offered WSOs so far. I know I did and there were a total of 4 last I heard.
I have said it once and I will say it again, if EVERYONE gave $10, Tim would have his surgery right now. My finances are not good but I donated AND offered a WSO.

Come on people???? What is going on?
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
    • [2] replies

    • AGREED.

I can also donate a product (something I sold this year and people loved).
Whoever is doing this, contact me and I'll send it over along with whatever else you need.
      • [1] reply
    • It is a lot of work to put this together.

First, I have had 6 or 7 people say they will donate products. I am waiting to receive some of them still. The content is all varied stuff. Most of it is about marketing, surprise. It is all very good.

Second, I have to come up with a theme for the WSO (think I have one) to tie it all together. Then I have to write the copy. It cannot be rushed and suck.

Third, I have a business to run.

Fourth, I set up the paypal donation page and wrote the copy in a couple hours, AFTER being the ONLY person to respond to Tim's plea for help with his original donation page copy, and then letting people know in the Off Topic forum of Tim's issues. THEN others brought the news here to the main forum.

I am sure the WSO price will be at two levels, $27 and $57. But when I do not yet know exactly what I have to work with for products, it's tough to move ahead. People need some time to send their products over. Of course there is a cutoff, which is likely at the end of today, where I will simply go ahead with what I've got.

It has only been a couple of days. Would you buy a WSO that was thrown together in two days? It is going to take a couple more to ensure we have an effective fundraising product for Tim here.

When you have a medical problem the bills DO NOT STOP. So please consider donating now and when the WSO comes out. I donated several times for the late Ken Strong, and helped set up his fundraising WSO with other Offliners. I know what it takes to do this.

Incidentally, today we already have twice the clicks we had yesterday. Well done!
      • [ 3 ] Thanks
      • [1] reply
  • I agree with Thomas. If we turn this into a lecture about donating and what people should and should not do with their money then it will be even less effective than it already is.

I've just donated and encourage anyone else who is in a position to do so also.

But just remember that every person has their own problems and is usually going through something. We are asked for money everywhere we look these days and so if others have and support their own charities, that's their own business but doesn't make them bad people.

Those who can afford to donate should. Those who can't shouldn't be made to feel bad. Even just wishing Tim well is more than enough if you can't afford to offer financial support. It all helps.

    Best of luck Tim.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks

    • Just found this thread, and looking for the fundraiser WSO.

I think some of the folks who've visited the thread without donating are
holding out for the WSO, and plan on donating that way...

They may not have enough to donate now AND later... especially since
there's no info as of yet about how much the WSO will be...

Looking through my hard drive to see what I might be able to donate

  • I agree. It seems days have gone by and almost no action. Making $1000 isn't going to get Tim anywhere. We need to collectively move things along MUCH faster.
Come on people. I didn't know Tim but I donated money AND a WSO. I KNOW there are others who will do the same.

  • Moderator Comment: It's okay to bump this thread when it hits page 2, please do not do a straight "bump" while it's still on page one. Thank you.

    Bump.

I've seen a few of these unfortunate threads over the years. Life is so precious and fragile. None of us are guaranteed another day on this Earth. Any one of us could become ill or injured at any time. You just never know.

I'm definitely not trying to guilt anyone. I certainly understand what it's like to be short on cash. Been there, done that. Giving anything at all would be helpful.

Got you in my prayers, Tim.

  • Bump from page 2 again.

I recall reading a story about the late Sam Kinison a few years ago that his brother had written. I don't remember it verbatim, so please don't quote me, but it went something like this...

Sam used to be a Pentecostal Minister before doing stand-up comedy. That's where much of his yelling came from onstage. Many people don't know that.

Anyway, one Sunday the church had asked a guest speaker from out of state to come and give a lesson to the congregation. After the sermon was over, Sam went up to the podium, thanked the minister for his sermon and asked the congregation for donations to help pay for the Minister's return trip home. After closing prayers everyone was asked to come and put what they could in a container next to the podium.

Well, as I recall (once again, please don't quote me as it's been a long time since I read it), most of the people were heading toward the exits and not donating.

Seeing this, Sam ran up to the podium, opened his briefcase, pulled out a gun, fired a couple rounds into the ceiling and screamed into the microphone, "I SAID, THE MAN NEEDS SOME MONEY!!!"

Shocked and scared out of their wits, the people started streaming back in and putting money in the container. LOL

How is that relevant hear? Well, in case anyone hasn't read the "urgency" in the title of this thread, it goes something like this, "THE MAN NEEDS SOME MONEY!!!"

    LOL

But seriously, what if it were your husband, your wife, a parent, a child, a close friend? You'd be desperate to help them, wouldn't you?

Some might ask why we should show the same compassion to someone who's a stranger to most of us?

Because it's the right thing to do. Because it may be us or someone we love next time.

Everything helps, guys. A buck, ten bucks, anything you can do. It all adds up.

Please help if you can. I'll shut up now.

    Joe
    • [ 7 ] Thanks
  • just done my small part...I met you in the SKYPE room of one of the earlier WSO courses and your questions to the owners there made me admire you as you said it like it is, no twist and turn... All the best Tim... God Bless!

    • Hey Tim,

I'm sorry to hear of your dire health crisis. I just donated what I could, and I wish you all the best in raising the rest of the funds you need, and finding a donor asap! Many Blessings to you and your family.

    • There is an entity that does this for people world wide. they have three places where they do the operations, depending on different circumstances. My circumstances put me in Mexico.

I found one bad reference to this entity, and mostly good references. They are also a member of the BBB in very good standing, so I feel good about them.

They will find the donor for me. It takes about two to three weeks for the operation and recovery.

      Hope that helps.

And to give update, PayPal balance: $1712.58 USD so nearly $100 in the past 24. Thanks to everyone.

This is a really nice cause and one of the reasons why i love this forum, but how exactly are the donations going to help? You can't just buy a new kidney, they don't store them somewhere and sell them to whoever comes up with the most money. If a kidney gets available and Tim's on top of the list he gets it.

Once i know what the money's for i will ofcourse donate aswell

Also, Tim, i really do hope you get better. Life is so short and no one deserves to leave this life because of a failed kidney. We all deserve a long and healthy life. Being as young as i am i can't in any way imagine leaving this life. You got my sympathies and thoughts.

    Robert

edit: Just read the donation page through again, does the money go towards paying for the operation itself? Feel alittle stupid about posting what i did now..will donate what i can, Tim!

edit2: My ignorance to the fact that people have to pay for things like this is based on where i'm from. In Sweden, where i live, everyone who's a citizen is covered by health insurance. Operations like these are done on a weekly, if not daily basis, and the government pays for it.
We do pay quite alot of our incomes in taxes (33%~, around 50% if you earn more than 50,000 SEK or somewhere around there) but get alot back in return.
    • [2] replies
    • For you and anyone else who wants to know. I have to leave the country as even if i was on the list, I coudl not wait for my name to come to the top. I was dumped by the local transplant folks for a bogus reason my personal surgeon said was bogus. But he could not get them to change their minds. So I have to go to Mexico to get the surgery.

They have many people who will donate for a price. It will all be arranged by a Los Angeles company, (actually world wide). And they do them in Singapore, India, or Mexico, depending on certain criteria.
      • [1] reply
    • Sorry, I missed your question. The money is for the operation and travel expenses to the transplant hospital in Mexico. I was denied her, even though my attending physician said I had the required blood flow to support the transplant.

    • I met Tim online numerous years ago (2001) on eBay selling websites. He is a great man that taught me a lot and he is still helping me out.

I just made a donation to help Tim get his kidney.

Are there any domain flippers here? I have promote.cc, adultbuyers.com, and lolita.cc that I can donate for Tim's cause if someone can sell the name.

  • Tim,

I just donated to your cause and I hope you'll be able to have your surgery soon. My heart, prayers and well wishes go out to you. I'm sure your journey has not been easy but I know things will work out for you and I look forward to conversing with you here on the WF for many more years to come.

  • Tim, I don't know you personally but I've seen your posts around the forum for quite a while and I've learned a lot from you. I just sent a donation your way and I'll be posting your link on Facebook as well. Have you considered running a crowd funding campaign on IndieGoGo? It might be worth a shot. God bless!
    • [ 2 ] Thanks
  • Everyone adding a link to their signatures will have a good viral effect.

Great job on the sales page for donations, this is going to be an epic charity WSO!
  • I just made a donation, and was wondering if you have tried this company to help you raise some more money, they are fantastic http://tinyurl.com/indiegogocharity they are called Indiegogo, Check them out, they can really help you to get your message out there. Hope this Helps.

And my thoughts are with everyone who knows Tim Pears, I am sure we can all help him find his new kidney

    • About time for a BUMP from page 2. :-)
    • I didn't know Indigogo was for that type of funding. but don't you have to do our own marketing, like pasting to you ad all your friends Facebook page etc.? That is what I have been doing with my current appeal on GiveForward.com, but it isn't going very well, kind of stopped at just over $612 last time I checked.

Anyway, PayPal balance: $1,489.12 USD. Whew!
  • Just donated - don't know Tim but it's a good cause.

    Hope everything works out,

  • Well Jason and Furgan and I were working on setting up the WSO tonight. Mostly them and not me.

I got a look inside the members area at all the stuff that is being given away for this low price. Boy what a collection. It has blown me over at all the stuff that has been donated. It is hard to believe that so many people have donated so much, for little ol' me.

I want to thank you all for your support. Most of the folks I didn't even know until Jason started this.

Hey Tim Very sorry to hear about your health. Will join and donate too.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Never mind the processing fee or whatever...I am gonna help a fellow warrior no matter where he/she is located with my lil savings.

I am a warrior who has not sold a single item as of date except buying all the stuff that promises millions!!!!!! Consolidating myself now phew!

Its interesting hundreds of people who claim to be making millions a year, nope thousands a month have no real money at all to help another fellow human being...Reality sucks and its sad...

Which link is the best to make payment....Please keep it on...I wanna pay

**** I found the link on the other thread **** i feel good now
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Hey Tim...I am sure it will work out pretty soon with all fellow warriors selling products that make thousands of dollars a month - they will not grudge to part with a few hundreds
    Be Cheerful as always
  • Tim,

I have added a link in my WF sig to your donation page. Now, I need to get busy responding to interesting threads so I can help get the message out and get you the extra help you need.

    WE CAN DO THIS!!!!
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Well the donations are still climbing a little.

PayPal balance: $1537.45 USD So that is up a little more than $30 since I posted yesterday.

    • Throw that on it Timmy

      Purpose Donation amount Total
Kidney Drive for Tim $100.00 $100.00

Will send more when I get my shit sorted. And I will try think of something for the auction.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Anxiously awaiting the soon to be born WSO to help Tim. Jason is working hard and doing a great job - From what I see the WSO has some super-duper resources. I hope it will be a smashing success!

When there is a link we can also help generate traffic by putting the WSO link in our signature here...
    • [1] reply
    • Yes, that will help a lot, as will sending to your list if you have one. If we can get some warriors to send this to their list, that will be awesome. I know Jason chose not to offer commissions, so list owners may not want to help. but I hope some will.

Just to let everyone know, we had more than $100 donated in last 24 hours and we are at PayPal balance: $1647.11 USD, now. Thank you everyone.

If I missed the thanks button, I am sorry. Evidently they only allow me to hit that a certain number of times per day, and it ain't that many. but I do thank everyone who has participated with a post or donating.
      • [ 1 ] Thanks

  • I'm sure this will be WSO of the day as well as WSO of the week!

  • Hi Tim,

Sad to listen your health situation. Hope you get it sorted soon! Wishing you happy healthy life!

Guys and Gals with products they could offer should also note, they will be getting some nice branding exposure in exchange for a little generosity.
    • Moshin,

I'm not sure if this is a full list or not, but here are some products that will be included in the WSO as reported here.

Anyone who affords it should donate the least possible for him to get well soon.
  • It's wonderful to stop in here and see everyone coming together now. This is the WF as the WF should be. This is community.

I have no health problems - but have been a little heart-sick over the way my species has been acting lately. Tim isn't the only one who needed this. I did, too. It really is giving me a boost to see that people are still willing to get up and pull together as a team toward some positive end - one that doesn't include domination or control of anything - just a good effort to get someone whole again.

Jeez, I won't bother starting to post thanks because my thanks button wouldn't even start to go far enough around before it died for the day - but to each and every one of you responding here with help and encouragement for Tim.................you've really helped turn my day around, too. Thank You! It's awesome to be part of this community.

Thank you so much Jason. I know you did this out of the kindness of your heart and don't expect nor want any accolades, but I feel you deserve them.

      So I want to say...

You are a good man, Jason Kanigan!

Hold on Tim, help is on the way!

      • [ 3 ] Thanks
    • Looks great! Thanks for all your efforts in putting this thing together.
  • It asks to log in or sign up... What is it we have to sign up for. I am confused.

But a HUGE thank you to Jason for all his hard work in pulling these amazing packages together and a big thumbs up to the other warriors who joined me in donating so we can raise more for Tim.
    • [1] reply
    • If you want to buy now, go to the site and click on the Buy Now (I changed it just for you) link at the bottom of the page. You'll be taken to the Membership Signup page, which is what the WSO will also link to. You can buy the Treatment you want there.

For the auto-registration to work, and so I would not have to personally sit there setting accounts up for each buyer, having the buttons hosted on the site was much easier.

      Thanks!

Still waiting for the WSO approval. However, you CAN buy now through the link above.

The small link to log in is for people who are already members.
  • I don't have much but gave what i could.
    • [ 3 ] Thanks
  • Not sure why no one has bought yet. Plenty of people have visited the Home page. The Membership Signup page, which you get to from the link at the bottom of the Home page copy, is the same page the WSO will send you to.

The money goes directly to Tim. The delivery is all set up and you will get everything immediately. Upon your donation of $27 or $57, you will receive an email with a link to create your membership account.
  • I am actually really strapped for cash myself right now as this month has been very, very quiet for work. I do intend on buying, but I have already made a donation and contributed to the package already.

I do hope others will buy, after all the work that has gone into it.

    • One thing I forgot to mention:

Anyone who has already donated a product, or $27 or $57 or more, please PM or email me jason (at) sales-on-fire (dot) com your receipt if you can't donate again to buy the WSO, and I will set up an account at the appropriate level for you.
  • Well How About That:

The mods activated the WSO! Thank you!

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-products.html

Go now! Get all this awesome stuff for pennies on the dollar, and help Tim!

If you contributed a product or donated, please post in the WSO thread about it to show your support! Many people STILL do not know about Tim's need. Just share that this is a legitimate cause, the products are real, and so is the deal!

  • This makes me sick we can spend a million to save an animal but we when it comes to humans they all die for lack of money, but hey burn billions every day on BS. I don't mind donating it's just all this made me mad how unfair it all is setup for the corrupt to take advantage of those who work hard (they call us dumb and laugh at us).

  • Time for a BUMP!
  • The WSO copy has been revised to include a whole lot more info about the products. If you missed the detail before, go back and check it out now!

We have EVEN MORE products and some bonuses that are expiring soon!
  • Here is my contribution:

    - open a campaign at GoFundMe (.com)
    - include a video (until recently I had a campaign for 2 weeks without a video, and no results either, I added it now but it's too late)
    - get some limited social attention at Facebook, Twitter, etc.
    - GFM charge 5%, but if you get several donations you may be featured, and then social media will do the rest.

I know by experience that raising funds for worthy causes isn't easy, you need time to kickstart it, something I don't have right now (or health, my wrists are a mess).
I also felt I shouldn't cash in some favors to boost my campaign though, it should be voluntary, but your situation is very different!
  • After dinner bump!

  • I appreciate all the help we have received to keep this active and such.

I don't know if anyone knows this or not, but the WSO is paying 50% commission, so if you have a list, you should be able to make some good money by sending the offer to your list.

Tim is a good guy and though I have been gone for a while we are all in this together. If you don't have a product no trouble you can help get the word out. Either way if this were you, you would sure want some folks rallying around you so step on in the water is warm

  • You folks are awesome. I do appreciate your help so much. I still have a long way to go in order to get the surgery paid for. I am hoping to release a software here shortly. I just need to build the delivery system and it is ready to go. I hope it will help folks, and I think it will as it is in order to post links for your articles on social sites. but I have to build the delivery system, and I hope to sell enough to help with this cause as I came home from the doctor Friday afternoon and he is scheduling me to replace the catheter in my chest as it is already having problems.

  • Sorry to hear of your problem. But glad to see it worked out for you. I have been to the brink a few times in my life, but always believe I will get through it. And I believe I will manage this time, especially with the help of my friends. and Warriors have stepped up to the plate for me. So I owe them a lot. We are still a long way off, but one step at a time, kind of like eating an elephant.
