Hello,

I am considering moving to US for one year. I live in Poland and work here as lets say SEO Junior Specialist.

What I am doing in my work:
- SEO audits for company sites, sometimes for online stores
- SEO advices for clients(how they can build links, how to create content)
- Link building(software like Magic Submitter, Scrapebox, ZennoPoster)

What do you think, will it be hard to find similiar job(e.g SEO Assistant etc. in US if I am not US ?
Off course I will improve my language skills before moving.

There are many such jobs in the US.

Geographically it is a much larger country than Poland, which I'm sure you know. There are different markets. Where are you planning to move to?

In 2009 I moved from Vancouver, Canada, to Wilmington NC USA. The process was lengthy and I could not work for the better part of a year during the immigration process. I presume you'll figure this out before moving?

Starting over without a bank account, credit score and many of the other things we take for granted in our home country is a tough slog. I won't sugarcoat it.

Job hunting advice is available on my blog kanigan.ca

You can also do what many Warriors do, and offer your services as a freelancer. Many companies are comfortable with that.

If you are skilled enough then you will definitely be able to find a job similar to the one you already have.

There's always jobs for people who are determined to get things done.

If you are in the US on a tourist visa you can't work here - so be certain to do the research before you apply. Good place to start:

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Also please strongly consider the difference in the cost of living (which also varies greatly within the US). It may be far more beneficial to live in Poland and earn income from American clients.

I'm sure the first thing any potential employer will ask for is a portfolio of pages you've already ranked in the SERPs. Obviously the more traffic those ranked pages/keywords get, the better you'll look to an employer.

It will be hard for the first day when you get there but with time you will make good customers if you offer high quality services . Remember you are from a foreign country so you must work on how you will be relating with those you meet there.

If you offer something of value that people need/want, people will always pay money for it.

Make sure your visas are correct before anything!

If I were you, I might want to pick buffalo new york for starters. It is a nice area that seems relatively low priced, and it has a large polish population. In fact, they celebrate a day called dyngus day:

What is Dyngus Day? Traditions, Schedules, Maps & More!

So it won't seem quiet so strange, and you can have more support with the language and culture.

Of course, make sure you have work visas, etc....

anything is possible here. it's all about what you can execute and your presentation. job-wise, i dont think it's no problem.
What I truly recommend is starting your own business, just be a sole prop, dba to protect your real name, pay taxes or perhaps go offshore, or delaware - the choices are unlimited and complex, but everyone goes thru it.

now being a financial intermediary, i cant ignore the fact that since you're in poland, it's always good to have a relationship with any bank that may be able to provide you with pci financial services. it is always great access and a powerful connection.

i wonder though, have you locked in on which state you're going make your stay in? good luck, ill be open doors to support you within my capacity

    cheers
