Hi Terra, here is something you might enjoy, l know l did!

Give it time, it is a bit mmmmm, initially, but it has a catchy tune, and a cute kitty!

So it is worth watching all the way through, and almost 100 million views!

Kitty's can be a handful, they are not always warm and fuzzy!

Terra is a cat lover? LMAO -- she's got a 3rd or 4th degree allergy to them. It's real cute. She turns blue and starts to sound like a tea kettle just seeing one. -- Well that's live anyhow - don't think it's gone psycho in ways that a video will make her start swelling. Kitties are cute when there's no danger of dander.

Maybe you should show her a video of a puppy. Or a frog.

Okay - just kidding about the frog.

      Shane,

I appreciate the sentiments, I really do. But HeySal is right.

Let me me catch you up:

My heart is aching for a puppy

I miss my kitty terribly, but I can't be near cats. I can, however, watch them on video though.

Now, as for the frog Sal was talking about.

I was attacked by a crazed tree frog!

      Haha!

      Sooo, how about a puppy?

Last week one of my daughters was driving at night with her boyfriend through a country road in Lincolnshire when they saw a tiny kitten in the road. They stopped and picked it up. It had chronic diarrhoea and had not cleaned itself. Indeed it was producing at the back end so regularly that it was unable to keep up with itself. It also stank!

They took it home, popped it in a box, gave it some kitten food which it eat as if there were no tomorrow and then took it to the vet. The vet examined her. Not only was there the clear evidence of things not being right in the bowel department but she also had ears full of mites and of course fleas. She was a bit bruised and battered too. They kept her in for a few days, injected her and cleaned her up, waited for anybody to claim her, and she is now a full blooded member of the family, greatly loved, and responding contentedly to the love with purrs the size and volume of a full grown lion!

Hmmmm, don't like puppies, and l would rather go to Queensland and kick a few toads around, than own one, (Australian joke)!

                Awww! I'm in puppy love!

Huh? What the heck does kicking toads around have to do with owning a puppy?

I need that Australian joke explained to this American too.

                Terra

Edit: Okay I watched the video, but I still don't know what a cane toad is. Question, if you don't drink beer, do you still go after them?

Well, cane toads are such a problem in Au, that it is more like a plague up there!

And if dogs, etc try and eat them, they get sick or worse, (poisonous).

So in some Aussie movies, (unfortunately couldn't find the one l remember seeing, Australian tv, is still a ghosttown, although it has gotten a bit better recently) there are references to cane toads, or shooting, playing golf with them, etc.

A bit like going to Perth, and visiting Rottenest Island, there is an unspoken reference to rodent like creatures living on the island, or Quacker Socker, (that is a direct quote, so don't shoot the messenger).

Same applies to these nasty frogs!

Here is some more info, if you want to learn about them!

A four pound toad? Poisonous nonetheless? That makes sweet little puppies sick? Golf away!

Yep, need to go up there for a break and bring my golf clubs, he, he!

No animals were hurt during this thread, apart from a considerable number of cane toads, and dare l say it, the occasional puppy.

But kittens were treated like royalty, so....

In all honesty l have grown up with dogs as well, and we did get them as puppys, so......l suppose they are cute, but l still prefer kittens.

                      Kittens all the way!!!! :p
