I need help. It's only 5:30 AM and I'm already thinking of going to bed...sun's not even up yet. I'm such a lazy, tired old wuss. Unfortunately.....hornets don't make me nervous.

Not even when they are 2.25" long!?!?!? 1/4" of that is STINGER!!!!! Just IMAGINE! Those hornets are almost the length of some HUMMINGBIRDS!!!!!!! A full grown hummingbird is about 3.5" And a fair bit of that is tail and beak.

Frankly, I tend to leave many things alone, but these hornets are something I would go out of my way to kill.

5.30 am, ! 4.00 am is my limit, but only after spending the last hour watching silly vioceover videos, he, he! :p

That's the main thing that sucks about IM, is it is very labour intensive, although building up an income stream, that far outstrips an income, more than makes up for it!

        YEP, that looks about right!

A normal hornet would be little more than 1 finger long, and these are almost FOUR(WITHOUT the stinger)! and look at the stingers! Over 1/2 a finger long!

These are like a scifi movie, but it is REALITY!

        COMMON hornet: 2-3.5cm
        THIS hornet: about 5.5cm

        An inch=2.54cm

I wouldn't be able to sleep, without a doubt. OMG!

I'm deathly allergic to bees and just a mere yellow jacket can kill me without medical intervention asap!

For me it's peanuts. Show me a hand with 4 peanuts in it and I'll break into a sweat just looking at it. LOL.

Nope - not scared of hornets. Those are big guys, but unless I accidentally swatted down their hive while they are home, I wouldn't be likely to lose sleep over them. Bet it does hurt more than just a tad if they sting you, though.

I am allergic to hornets - you know those yellow jacket ones - yeah the ones that bother you whenever you are outside on the patio enjoying a drink or a bbq?

got stung last summer when I was coming out of a swimming pool. Hurt like hell and swelled up like a balloon. Felt sick until I could get some benadryl into me - wow - not fun.

Anyway, Gary, those hornets are enough to keep me awake at night - surely!

Nope. Don't need any help to stay awake. The neighbors dog do that for me. lol

I'm so tired I haven't gotten much sleep in 5 nights. I might just have to get in the van and go camping away from this barking dog. lol

Don't get me wrong. I love dogs, but I just wish the dog would shut up for one night. lol

The dog is up on the hill about 200 Feet away and it sounds like he's right next door.
