I LOVE movies like The Marathon Man, Three Days of the Condor and The Boys From Brazil.

Do you guys have any to recommend that are like these, suspenseful thrillers with legendary actors and great story lines?

Such awesome thrillers were made in the 70's and 80's, and I find all the junk made today is ... well, JUNK!

Any thoughts?

The Boys From Brazil is a definite classic.
But, one of my all time favorites is the Hitchcock classic "Rear Window".

    • Rear Window, North by NorthWest, Vertigo, The Rope ... all great Hitchcock classics.

Check out the Spiral Staircase or Wait Until Dark if you like Rear Window.

      Thanks for the input.

    Harrison Ford made several.
But, IMO, the best were the Clancy novel-movies featuring Jack Ryan.
    The Fugitive.
    Air Force One.

      Brady,

Is that the Breakdown with Kurt Russell? That was awesome, thanks for reminding me of it. I will add it to my queue.

Haven't seen Mr. Brooks yet, but want to.

And Death Hunt ... how haven't I seen that? Two of my faves there, Lee Marvin and Charlie Bronson. Thanks!

Yes, it's the one with Kurt Russell. Best thriller of the nineties. Never get tired of watching it. Plus it's set in the desert. I love movies set in the desert.

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

      Wow, I forgot Sleuth!!!
That was awesome (the original, though the most recent version was not bad either), I have added that to my play list.

      Thanks for the memory.

Loved the 39 Steps, but have never seen Wages of Fear. Will have to give that a look-see.

      Thanks again.
