Hey all, I'm looking to purchase a standing desk (preferably one that's adjustable). I'm 6'1 tall. Do you guys have any suggestions or recommendations on what I should get? I want the "best" :-)

Thanks!

I'm looking for this too but I need to convert my regular desk (built into the wall in my office) into a standing desk that is adjustable. Anyone know where you can get some adjustable monitor risers that are VERY adjustable? As in they go up a whole foot or two?

I would probably just go to a office supply store and get a couple of file cabinets to a comfortable height and put a counter top on them, buy one from a building supply, home depot or lowes. Or just make one with a couple of sheets of nice plywood glued together and stained or painted

6'1" isn't THAT tall. I wish more things were a reasonable height for us though.

As for the best desk? Most I have seen seemed to be fine. Some chairs ARE high or set too high. Try playing on both sides of the street.

As for BEST? That depends on your flexibility, use, space, etc.... I got a kind of nice desk. It was the standard type with a skirt in front, a few drawers on one side, and a covered cubby on the other, for a computer. A FEW problems! It is against a wall, so who needs a skirt? The drawers are nice, but computers and screens are smaller so who needs the cubby? It COULD have been a lateral file cabinet!
