Famous Celebrities From Your Hometown

Cleveland (north east ohio in general) is a portal of notoriety, I think there's something in our water that causes people to dance to a different beat. Sometimes it's great artistic talent, other times it's chopping people up.

From the art side we have Paul Newman, Bob Hope, Halle Berry, Drew Carey, Dean Martin, Tim Conway, Toni Morrison, Phil Donahue, Arsenio Hall, Marilyn Manson.

Well, the subject is "hometown" not "home region." Typical Clevelander can't follow directions...:p

I was raised in MI and there were a lot of rock stars in our area way back when. Fredy Boom Boom Cannon lived about a mile from me. Bobby Seger was from a few town over. Terry Night was there all the time but not sure if he lived right IN town. The rest were from down the road in Detroit, though. Detroit had hands-full of rock stars there. A lot of comedians, too.

Penns Grove, NJ = John Forsythe and Bruce Willis and a boxer I can't remember his name. While I was born in Penns Grove I grew up in Marion OH - that city had a few famous folks as well.
