OFF TOPIC

I have to say, those dudes were great singers, great voices. Been listening to them A LOT lately since my son, 3, insists on playing them despite my attempts to introduce him to more modern fare. What's up with that little dude? He insists on watching black & white cartoons, and now listening to either Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, or Johnny Cash.

I can identify with that. At age 3 my younger son knew every word on a Johnny Cash album we had and would sing along through the entire album.

My Grandon loved the Western Channel when he was a toddler - old cowboy movies, many of them in black and white. He never liked cartoons much - but he LOVED those old westerns.

It's amazing Cash's music is still popular with kids - I wonder if it's the deep tone of voice that does it?

  When I was a little one I liked listening to Tommy Doresy, Glenn Miller, Gene Krupa, and Buddy Rich, more then the "kiddie" songs of that time.
  I also listened to some Sinatra and Cash when I got a little older, was never much of an Elvis fan. On the other hand see if your son likes this guy.
