I need to raise my monitor about 9 inches but I can't seem to find a stand that will raise it more than a couple of inches.

Do you guys know of any stand that will raise a monitor 6-9+ inches?

Thanks!

I don't use it now but a while back when I needed a raised monitor I build a simple platform out of three pieces of wood. I had some extra wood shelves about 1" thick in the garage so I chopped up one of those and screwed it together. Worked so well I later used it to raise a 32" flat screen TV.

Another alternative - 3-4 large hardback books stacked up.

That's what I do now, but it's ugly. I was hoping someone would know of an actual adjustable monitor stand somewhere, but by the looks of it, nobody does...

Get a chair that's 6-9 inches shorter than the one you have now.

I'm standing at a standing desk.
