New Mac Pro vs. Old Mac Pro (need input)

I currently have a 2010 27" iMac 2.8GHz i7 and upgraded the memory to it's max of 16GB. 1TB storage.

I was recently looking into getting a Mac Pro since I'm really pushing the iMac to its limits I think. To show you an example, I just counted and as I type this I have over 80 windows open, plus Microsoft Word, iTunes, Photoshop, Skype, Camtasia and QuickTime. I know for a fact I can probably close some of my windows but I have a bad habit of keeping them open for easy reference. Currently using all 16GB memory and about 2GB swap used.

I'm not sure if I would benefit from getting the new Mac Pro or not. The old Mac Pro has more cores and larger storage, but the new has all flash storage so that might help speed things up in some areas. Since i'm not the most knowledgable in this area, i'm gonna show the stats of 2 Mac Pro's below and hopefully someone can give me input on what I would benefit from (the way I use it):

New Mac Pro:

$3,999
6-Core and Dual GPU
3.5GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5 processor
16GB 1866MHz DDR3 ECC memory
Dual AMD FirePro D500 with 3GB GDDR5 VRAM each
256GB PCIe-based flash storage1

For more specs: Mac Pro - Buy Mac Pro Computers - Apple Store (U.S.)

Older Refurbished Mac Pro (2010 Model):

$4,079.00
2.66GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon
Two 2.66GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon "Westmere" processor
6GB (6 x 1GB) of 1333MHz DDR3 ECC memory
1TB Serial ATA 7200 rpm
18x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
ATI Radeon HD 5770 with 1GB GDDR5 memory

Fro more specs: Refurbished Mac Pro 2.66GHz 12-Core Intel Xeon - Apple Store (U.S.)

Also take into consideration that the new Mac Pro is priced at $3,999 but I know for fact it's gonna go up quickly since it would need some upgrades. For example, only comes with 256GB flash storage. My iMac has 1TB and im using over 570GB currently.

Hoping someone can analyze all the specs and let me know which one I would benefit from the most. Thanks!
