It is almost like a DDOS environment.

3 domains in a row = the sites are displayed and i can get to /wp-admin
but after putting in name and password, it says the page can't load and then the more (details) button says Google Chrome sez: WP took too long to respond

It's been going on for about 1-1/2 hours (that I know of) - sporadically I can login to 1 or 2 in a row and then the error state starts over = several attempts same story... BOO!

i am pissed - i have one left for the first batch of 3... and i just can't stand loose ends so i can't stop trying. cleared cache with no results 80 hundred times.

when i talked to a tech support admin they had no problem logging in (from India to 1 or 2 accts) i am in CA-usa -

anybody have time to try a login and see if you have the same result i do?

or not?

any comment?

trick or treat - not a single gremlin came to my door. not unusual for this complex but lots of sirens and stuff going off in the vicinity.

boooooooo (who)

happy halloween!

It sounds like either a problem with the server or your Internet connection.

TB: yeah but i don't have any trouble with any other sites so maybe just a node or specific servers that my ISP is having conflict with? just wordpress?

    hmmmm.

this is a horrible trick. it is still letting me in for 1 or 2 and then 3 the cycle starts over - this really seems like an overload state or traffic jam - why i said DDOS.

i can remember wordpress being like hell* when i had to work there every night. probably responsible for the violent deaths of more than a couple keyboards and mice here in the old home office where nobody can see what a maniac sucky systems turn me into.

(the monster mash it came in with a smash). heheheheh

    * super slow as a rule - hung at various junctures repeatedly and timed out.

i am taking this stoically however for some odd reason.

Did you try a different browser? Sometimes one browser will give you a lot of trouble with a site but another browser won't experience any problems.

Don't ask me why, it just works like that sometimes.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

Yes Dennis for anything but HTML and WP -

I alternate between FireFox and Chrome but FireFox just does not somehow format HTML right and when using WP particularly I never use it (it has always done this to me across a couple different computer and Windows upgrades and hosts (WP installs).

It could only happen to me - and I just found out I had a bunch more in the batch than I thought - but now I am down to the last 3 and just like clockwork rhythm - it had no problem real fast 2 domains - 3rd domain not so much (not at all can't login).

    boo hiss cackle

p.s. it reminds me of the 'metering lights' on the SF Bay Bridge - not sure if other bridges have it but like they let a few go stop the next bunch let them go stop the next bunch.

    ;o)
