Anybody Else Getting Warriors Only Emails?

Somebody somewhere either got hacked or somebody is on a major spam spree.

I am getting HUNDREDS of emails from the address Warriors Only and it's not
stopping.

I've looked at the email address they're coming to and it's one I have registered
with a service at this forum. I don't want to give more info than that.

This is out of control and I can't keep up with it.

These people should all burn in hell. Every last one of them.

Yes, me too. I have blacklisted them. Set up a filter to send their emails directly to your trash as having already been read. What a pain.

It looks like they are looping somehow and emailing to themselves via a bot. Then we're getting caught in a cc tornado.

I've got around 40 of them. WTF? I don't understand what you just said Jason - but I wish I knew how to do that - I'm getting them sent to my spam folder now but don't know how to blacklist them.

You should have gotten a first copy with the subject line [Warriors_only] WSO Top Pick. Send a copy of that email to abuse@clickbank.com, with a note that the spammer's CB affiliate ID is sargon21

If you want to verify this for yourself, go to wheregoes.com and paste in the bit.ly link, or just have them add a + sign to the bit.ly link and paste it into a browser to find the encoded affiliate link.

Clickbank WILL nuke accounts if they get enough legitimate and verifiable complaints.

Paul, I'm trying to PM you but I keep getting a 500 Internet Server error.

Should I email the info to you?

We've been getting these too. They've sent emails to us which opened many support tickets and we're even getting our auto response email that the user is supposed to only get when they open a ticket.

We're also getting auto response emails from other hosts where the user/both with that email has opened tickets.

I have nothing to do with clickbank either so I wonder how they got my address, unless they got it from this forum.

I got a few of these last night. I found it confusing because they mentioned Warriors Plus, but a couple of the messages also claimed to be a response to an oDesk help desk inquiry. Since I haven't used oDesk in some time, I know that can't be right.

  • I got 44 emails cloned on two email addresses that are on my business site. However, I couldn't tell whether they were an attempt at spam or some admin's mistake, so I didn't think much of it.

      Sal,
      Have I been hacked?
Don't know. If so, it doesn't have anything to do with these spams.

This appears to be a list of scraped addresses. Whether they only scraped this site or hit others too is not certain. But they did get at least some of the addresses from public postings here.

From the look of the reports, each person who got these was hit with one direct spam and around 43 of the odd help desk responses for every address they had posted publicly on this forum. The problem here isn't a flood of spam so much as a spammer who's as screwed up technically as he is ethically.
