How to stop my baby climbs down from the crib?

My little baby is very active. I put her to bed in crib, and were extremely surprised when she walked into our bedroom a few minutes later. Shocked that she was able to get out without any injury, we put her back into the crib, and again a few minutes later she climbs down again.

OK, what's her name? houdini? Is she actually pulling herself over a railing of a couple feet, and then hopping onto the floor, or what?

Then again, if she is something like 2, this isn't that special. I hear "baby" and think baby, not considering that some may call a 30yo a baby, and of course, a 3yo would then be a baby. Of course, those I would call a baby usually don't walk either.

If your baby can get out of the crib, then that's a great sign that it's time to move on to a toddler bed.

However, for some reason I'm expecting a spam post here at any minute. This is a weird topic for a new person to bring up in this forum.

Turn the crib over. Instant baby jail.

Good simple idea! of course, if she IS three, or even two, maybe she could easily get out!

lol. My mom told me I started climbing out of the crib when I was 14 months.

She said I would watch for her and dad to go to sleep and then start climbing out.

She even told me that when I started climbing out I would keep an eye on them and watch to see if their eyes would open and if they did I would get back down in the crib and lay back down until there eyes were closed again. xd

I knew I was in trouble for trying to break out of baby jail. I was just trying to not get caught.
