Another fine performance earned her a standing ovation from the judges, including Simon Cowell. So she moves to the next round. Here is a video of her singing "Memories" from the musical "Cats".

      Susan Boyle is terrific!

"Memory" is a very difficult song. She made a couple of mistakes going off key but then she corrected herself. She was probably very nervous.

Susan Boyle is your next door traditional British girl.

She is no Pussycat Doll, she is so much better than a Pussycat Doll and unlike Nicole Scherzinger, she has a voice and she can sing!

With professional help and advice she can make a great recording artist. I wish her only the best throughout the rest of her life.

I think she will win the contest and the prize. It would be nice to see her performing for the Queen and the Royal family.

      Go Susan Boyle!!

Susan Boyle 'to be given West End musical role'

Susan Boyle is to be given a role in a West End musical, courtesy of Andrew Lloyd Webber, according to reports.

Lord Lloyd Webber, 61, is behind shows such as The Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar and Cats.

He recently met Boyle, the internet sensation from Britain's Got Talent, at a recording studio in London and he told The Sun he had a role for her.

"She is a terrific sport and she's a great fan of my shows," he said.

"If she wanted to be in one, well it could happen. It would have to be the right role. Maybe I know what it could be, but I'm not telling. She's got a great future"

Lord Lloyd Webber said although he had not seen her on the ITV reality TV show, he saw her on Michael Barrymore's My Kind Of People in 1995.

Boyle, a 48-year-old church volunteer from Blackburn, Scotland, was the star guest on Oprah Winfrey's show earlier this week, appearing via video.

Subtitles were added by bosses who thought American viewers would not understand her strong Scottish accent, although they were dropped when she held a live interview with Winfrey.

She has turned into a global phenomenon ever since she first stunned judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream from the musical Les Misèrables.

Susan's future is assured. I expect she will far outlast any hip hop group and whether she wins or not is irrelevant.

These shows become popularity contests - and often the best talent doesn't win but ends up with the best career of all.

Dear April: I don't want any trouble from you.
January was long, February was iffy, March was a freaking dumpster fire.
So sit down, be quiet, and don't touch anything.

Whilst I agree Kay - Susan's future is assured when it comes to talent, Diversity had it in spades.

Susan is gifted and with work, can become a lot better. Diversity have put in countless hours to achieve the perfecton they display. I've never seen such innovation in dance. But I agree, a singer of talent, is more marketable than a dance group.

A good footballer will always earn more than a genius tiddlywink player, it's all down to bums on seats when it comes to earnings.

One thing that restricts Diversity's earning power is, of course, the fact you can't sell CDs of dance acts. Although to be fair, we used to have tap dancing acts on the radio in the fifties! Unbelievably, we also had a radio ventriloquist!

I know the huge amount of pressure (little known relatives suddenly turning up); and overnight fame not everyone is equiped to cope with the stress. I'm sure I could'ent. She seems such a very shy country woman. I do hope she recovers well and soon she does still have some opportunities to sing and make some money I'm sure.
