Let me see if I have this right? Someone is so emotionally needy that they are willing to lie, cheat, steel, commit felonies and have innocent people put in jail so they can look good to their co-workers.

  • This women is unbelievably wicked, she even faked a masters degree in chemistry.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • I sincerely hope that all those who were jailed are released immediately.

Not on a case by case basis, all of them. All convictions and charges expunged from the record, and any fines refunded immediately.

Somehow, I don't think she'll make into 2014 though unless she's kept in complete isolation from the rest of the prison population.

    • And if they don't-- and she doesn't-- I don't think there will
be very many people upset about it. Nobody on either side
of the bars likes these kind of people.
  • And this is the sole reason why I am against the death penalty--
This kind of shit is just far too common. These days I don't
even trust the claims of DNA evidence. Not because there is
any doubt in my mind whatsoever about the science (like some
people in Texas!) but because many of the people handling it should
    be in prison.

In fact, I would like to see some of the people who hire and promote
people like that woman punished as well.

    • This isn't the first time there have been cases of doctored evidence by criminologists.

I knew a man who worked for the govt for 16 years as an engineer. Good steady job - good pay. He decided he could earn more in the private sector.

A few months later he was jobless. Seems the govt never checked his references when they hired him as an "engineer". He wasn't an engineer - but thought since he now had "experience" his new private employer wouldn't check his references. They did. Had he stayed with the govt he could have retired with a full pension as an "engineer".

So not surprising a govt agency at any level wouldn't bother to check the master's degree claimed.

I think the sentence is light for the problems she caused other people who may have been incarcerated due to HER manipulation of evidence.

  • So very sad

  • Absolutely criminal of the worst kind. I can't believe (can I?) how light her sentence is. I just hope it is in solitary confinement and not for her protection.

Believe it or not that is the part I am most upset about is her light sentence. I will be in a bad mood all day. Look at all the lives she ruined if only temporarily - you think they can get back the lawyers fees? The jobs and families the unjustly convicted lost? The stigma? etc etc?

I guess this is a new form of Munschausens "by proxy" syndrome - and if they would poison their own kids and etc to get attention I guess they have no compunction about the people's lives that they hurt and destroyed.

They need to release everybody - but the harm is already done.

    • NO, that is just FRAUD!!!!!!!

NOBODY really checked my education, etc... apparently until a few months ago! Luckily, I never lied. But I WAS kind of shocked that they checked. I have had a string of successes stringing back 3 DECADES, and 2 or 3 of the past successful contracts were with THIS company! They ALSO gave me a drug test! WHY? Well, they are doing it with EVERYONE! Things have gotten THAT bad! I subcontracted for a company for years and NOW, they require EVERYONE to have drug tests TWICE A YEAR! And SOME do NOT accept adhesion contracts! So if I have a drug test for one company and a month later am hired by another, THEY may want ANOTHER drug test!

But the more power you have, the STRICTER the checks and punishment should be if you commit fraud!

  • I'm also in the opinion that she's not going to fair too well in jail. Light sentence might have just been the judge reasoning that he really didn't need to throw the book at her. If she's not dead within the first year, when she gets out she'll probably be so slammed with lawsuits from those she harmed that she'll be in court all the time anyway. Wonder how kewl she'll look to her friends when she's dressed like a bag lady because every cent she earns goes to paying off her victims.
