Wasted Money: I Feel Stupid

I plunked down money on not one but two video editing programs that were more limited and basically inferior to Windows Movie Maker. I guess I got caught up in the promotional sizzle and didn't think, hey, I made this same mistake in the past. I don't learn from my mistakes, I develop callouses from them.

(yeah yeah, Mac-heads, please refrain...)

It probably happens to MANY! It is funny what people try to sell. Sometimes they get junk ONLY so they can hype things up. Sometimes it only takes a misplaced comma, a word change, etc... and they end up selling you exactly what you had.

I subscribe to one site that actually has ONE staple business! They provide information to rip apart the HYPE of a certain other company.

If THAT isn't enough, the OTHER company basically sells information, even WELL KNOWN info, based on HYPE! They charge a fortune, and often just end up selling ANOTHER newsletter or whatever at a high price.

    So don't feel TOO bad!

    Steve

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

Can you not ask the vendor for a refund? That would be reasonable.
Best of luck next time - always check out some credible reviews!!

Nah, then they actually lose money, the way Paypal works. I didn't actually get cheated. Usually one piece of software has advantages over others on one respect or other. I'll just try to utilize them.

Great attitude! Sometimes different software is needed to get the job done. I find I switch between different applications to glean what is available in order to end up with a quality product in the end. Other times I learn what works best after trying several applications and end up sticking with one if it is what works best start to finish. Either way it is not a total loss, because in the end you have learned what works best for you. Good luck on your video editing projects!

Boost Software teamed up with Neverblue. They helped produce this new affiliate video.
