Everything you think you know about how to pronounce "aweber" is wrong!...

I was just watching a video of a very well known + respected aussie marketer.
I sat in shock when I heard the way he pronounced "aweber."

I would pronounce it... "AY-web-er."
But he pronounces it... "ah-WEE-ber."

Doesn't really matter -- I just was a little shocked.
The guy is still a genius + puts out great, useful stuff!

  • Oh dear . . . this is really confusing. I heard a big time marketer from Pottsylvania who pronounced it OY flibber. Who do you suppose is right? :rolleyes:
  • Reminds me of people who pronounce "Ezine" as, "EE-ZYNE."

    Should be "EE-ZEEN," cuz it's an electronic magaZEEEEEN, after all.

  • He was probably pronouncing it right but you couldn't tell.... Ya have to remember that Aussies are doing everything upside down so stuff comes out sounding funny.

    But I still have no idea if to pronounce niche as NISH or NICH as in teach.

      The only people who pronounce it neetch are German existentialists.
