"Perhaps we are stronger than we think"

and from Star Trek 6, Scotty said "Then we're dead!"

And Spock said (in total deadpan) "I've been dead before". That's my favorite all time line from any movie.

This is followed closely by Batman Begins, where the crook says "I swear to God!" and Batman says "Swear to ME!"

My Brother gave me this quotation several years ago.

    : )

There is no such thing as failure. You either get the desired outcome, or your learn. No matter what the result, you win. The past does not equal the future. Every time we face a challenge we have a choice to make. Will we get bitter or better? Decide to get better. Face the challenge it's there to make you stronger. You will need that strength further down the road when you'll be facing even bigger challenges. The difference between people is there are those who are interested and those who are committed. The key to success in life is going from being interested to being committed. Once you are committed you will produce results. At the point of commitment, you mentally burn all bridges and you do whatever it takes to make it happen. That's when you become unstoppable.

It's a dandy, isn't it? Claude is a good guess, I'm actually honored to be mentioned with him. It wasn't Claude or me though. If I was going to list one of my own lines it probably would have been this one:

I heard this in a movie about the army. A sergeant told his men "No matter how bad the situation, there is always one more thing you can do". It really stuck with me.

There's a movie called The Big Picture, which stars Kevin Bacon as a young director trying to hit the big time in Hollywood. In one scene, a real estate agent is showing him an apartment. When Bacon tells the agent he's a director, the agent says:

"You know I used to be a director back in the day. I directed Rocky Mountain Serenade. I was the one who made Red Reardon a star. That no good bum. You know what he did to me? He turned around and crapped in my face. Literally."
