Not sure if this post goes here... if somewhere else, please let me know. Thx.

So I've been a member of this community for a little over a year and bought more than my share of products in my quest for financial freedom, by learning and trying to build a Internet marketing company that serves small businesses.

Lately I've been following up with some of the products I've purchased (thanks to a faulty HDD) and found the product website is no longer registered and needless to say can't log in to a member's area.

I've gone to jvzoo.com to look for assistance, but they offer no support -they just host the sales page and provide a product download link.

I understand there is an end date to all things, but subscribing to a email list should give me a heads up when the product site is terminating. To boot, always in the back of my mind I wondered, "how long will these products be useful and available?" I'm starting to see some answers.

//////////////////

So who else has had this experience? Is this the place to discuss? And is there a website to call these guys out?

I've sent emails to the product creator's email addresses and thanks to yesware know they are beingopening... though no reply back yet.

Here's a list I'm starting. Please add in this thread your list a "Product Shammers":

Note: If you are on the "Product Shammer list" I welcome your response here too.

Ending an offer does not immediately qualify someone as a "shammer." And this is not the place for that kind of accusation.

How long ago were those orders placed, out of curiosity?

One more thing. I did personally try communicating at least TWICE before even mentioning it here. Yesware verified that indeed the emails were opened. So by not having the courtesy to reply, in my mind, leaves them at least a bit suspect. No you may not like the word "Shammer", but I certainly can think of other words to describe what may be going on...

But I am not trying to jump to conclusions. In fact I'd be happy to resolve this with out name calling and such. That's why I'm bringing it up; communicating if you will. The product creators or the folks that monitor their brand have every chance to explain the situation too.

That said if they don't, don't you think it's important to "air this out for the integrity of this site - that ONLY reputable product creators sell on this site? --Tod

Paul, I appreciate you posting first on this. Though not sure why you deleted the product & creator's info on my previous post. I'm not making this up - below are links to where the member's area should be. Also this forum isn't just about happy sales and puppy kisses. If this is the wrong area, please tell me where on WF.com I should be posting such concerns. Thank you for your insight and assistance to this matter. -Tod

      Tod,

Then you haven't read the rules here. Specifically, the ones in the top thread in main discussion. Referred to as Rule #1, the primary rule reads, "If you have a problem with another Warrior, a Guru, or God, take it up with them directly. Not here."

Your complaint may or may not be legitimate. We have no way of knowing. We see many complaints every week that are NOT legitimate, and which are posted for a variety of bad reasons.

Even if the complaint is legit, there's nothing we can do about it.

If the product you bought was downloadable, the fact that the seller discontinued it and took it offline months after you ordered doesn't mean they're "shammers." If you had a hard drive issue and didn't have backups, that isn't THEIR responsibility.

If that's the case, coming in here and "calling them out" is not only inaccurate, it may constitute libel.

If it was a web-based service, then you may have a legitimate complaint. It doesn't sound like that's the case, though, or the hard drive issue wouldn't likely have been a consideration you'd have mentioned.

If that is what happened, please send me, via PM, a link to the offer and an explanation of the situation.

Thank you Paul. I'm moving on as this is not worth the effort, but I do appreciate your words and assistance. Sorry for stirring up the dust, not the intent. --Tod

JVzoo.com's only support is this for product purchasers - "contact product owner directly". As a product buyer if you have another way to get through please share. Thx!

Did you purchase a product? YES

      Product / Customer Support

If you need support for an individual product or for a purchase, you must contact the product owner directly.

The support contact information is on each purchase receipt right above the download link.

Please go to My Purchases to view your receipts and contact the product owner directly. JVZoo.com support cannot give product specific support help.

So let me get this straight, you expect JVZoo to provide support for other people's products?

      Dear Dennis,

I hope this letter finds you well, I purchased a product from an off topic member and well since you are familiar with this section of the forum, I have a question to ask if it's not to much trouble.

Can you provide some support for this product that is totally unrelated to you? The product owner is not responding but hey, be a pal and give me the support owed to me.

Joe- I never asked jvzoo.com or wf.com to give me any support for software that doesn't work or isn't available. I just asked if anyone else had a similar experience and described the background a little. Maybe you should have read the original thread first. I certainly wasn't trying to get treated like a 1 year old jeesh. Enjoy your trolling.

No I don't expect jvzoo.com to support my purchased product. Clarifying what I meant was I tried to contact their support dept to see if they had a way to contact the product creator since I had no success. That's it.
