What I Did for New Years
I had a pretty good year with my web design business. Had quit a few churches, non profits and all around good folks doing good things for others. During the course of the year I have been self educating myself with html5 and CSS3.
I selected 20 organizations that I built sites for this year and re did their sites using the new technology that I have learned. Of course I think they look AWESOME. It definitely will help the portfolio hahaha.
I also happen to have a friend that is a writer for the local paper, told her about the project. Of course its a feel good story, so I gave her the web address' and the phone contacts of each.
I just finished loading all the pages, and have e-mails set to send at midnight as a "New Years" gift.
If all works out each organization or some, will get good press and so will I. Just to note the write up was an after thought and the whole thing was not intended to create anything more than a word of mouth kind of buzz.
With that I would like to wish all of you a very HAPPY and PROSPOROUS New Years!
