See it? Hell, I fashion wardrobes from it.

Actually - the oldest artifacts we have of human handicraft are beads..........so if you're waiting for people to just give up on "bling".......you might have to live a long, long, long, long, long, time.

Exactly. I'm not giving up my bling for nothing! Especially if it's pink and sparkly!

That will change when human nature changes. Let's see...how long have there been humans?.....nope, it isn't going to change anytime soon.

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

It's what we do. Ain't gonna change.

    People chase shiny objects
    Dogs chase cars
Wile E. Coyote chases the Road Runner

And all with about the same degree of success.

  • At first, everyone needs a little practice to learn how to separate the truly valuable shiny objects from the worthless ones.

No, Wild E. Coyote is wealthy, so he already found a shiny object that worked.

It was his purpose in life to catch the road runner, usually through Acme, explosives and other devices!

He, no doubt ordered a lot of Kentucky Fried!

But of course since l live in AU, Warner Bros cartoons are a distant memory!
