How do you report a domain for spam?

Hi everyone.

My instant messenger has been given a virus.

It's one of those viruses that will send instant messages to your contacts without you knowing about it (until they make it known to you).

In the spam message there is a domain.

was wondering how i could report that domain for spam.

if you know how could I please be given directions?

    Go to whois.net and enter the domain name.

    find out who is the domain registrar and hosting company.

    then contact them both and complain using the terminology that you were under the impression that no registrar or host would allow a spammer or other troll to use their system ILLEGALLY to perpetuate SPAMMING.

    (...and it is illegal for them to allow it) -

    i would call them on the phone and back it up with emails - you need to have documentation of the spam - with full -headers showing the server paths.

    Keep it up until they do something...
