Hey Guys,
I just received an email saying I have made my 1st affiliate sale for Host Gator! That is officially my 1st money made online as an affiliate marketer! I am pretty happy about this and to be honest was not expecting it at all because I had not advertised this very much and can't even think of how the person even got through my link but either way it has brightened my day to say the least!
(now just need to get another sale within 180 days or I lose it! )

How did you guys make your 1st sale?

Congrats, Stoner. The first sale is always exciting, and a confidence builder as well.

To answer your question,I made my first sale by seeing a need and filling it.
When Windows XP Service pack 1 came out if "broke" a lot of ebooks.
There was a work around but some found it tedious.
I hired a programmer to automate the process then marketed the software.
Sadly XP Service pack 2 fixed the problem Service Pack 1 created nd the lifespan of my program was quickly brought to an end.

But that is the story of how I made my first money online.

Congrats on your first sale. May many more come your way.

That's Cool! (shame about the short life tho!)

Believe it or not, I got 2 more today!
They are coming from my tutorial on YouTube on how to build a WordPress site....I Think! Although one thing I am unsure of and hopefully someone here knows, my 2 commissions that came in today say "Inactive" does anyone know if that will change to active or what will happen, I received 3 emails so far altogether saying "congratulations you have earned a commission" Hopefully I get all 3, finally my online "struggle" is seeming a little easier!

Kim, what was the name of your software? If it was Fix My Ebooks I used that sucker plenty.

To answer the question the OP posed: My first sale came from making custom graphics for someone.

        Your pretty close Dennis.
        It was EBookFix.

Over the years I have lost my graphics and none of the links work anymore.I really should take the page down.

Nostalgia prevents me from doing so though.
Since I am starting what I consider a new phase of my life soon ,it will probably come down then..
