Making our lives... good.

Have a "good" weekend.

GOOD POINT! If you dwell on all the BAD that could happen, you would have to DIE lonely, tired, and hungry, before you could even read or walk.

HEY, babies STUMBLE trying to walk, and kids get paper cuts reading books! And don't get me started about food.

I don't know if the "good life" commercial is translating to sales for them, but I like it. My wife loves those "mayhem" commercials, but I'm not a fan of them.

I didn't watch it full screen, but suspect that it is a life insurance ad?

We have a similar ad at the theatures, centering around a group of people surfing in the Philippines!

Great ad, with some dumb beer text at the end!

There is an ad that is supposedly viral. It looks like a 60s ad about teenagers just having a nice time. SUDDENLY, A person just DISINTEGRATES! Another then blows up. A girl decides to stay put SOBBING, and asks a guy to stay. He leaves, blows up, and his bloody arm is at her side.

The camera pans, and I GUESS we are to believe that it is showing the path they walked, but I doubt it. It then shows a gate that says it is an explosives training ground, STAY OUT.

The message? STAY IN SCHOOL! I checked it out. It goes to a supposedly australian site. ALL links are DEAD, except TWO! One is to the video I just described. Another is to the group that made it. THEY seem to specialize in lousy shorts that have blood, gore, and explosives.

Of course, I like allstates commercial better. The mayhem one at least holds your attention, and "mayhem" explains it.

Allstate has great commercials, but is a terrible insurance company.
We had both auto and home insurance with them for many years.
When our tire blew going down the interstate and our vehicle flipped a few years back, they tried to deny the claims claiming that we had just changed the policy.
They made me sue my wife to get my medical bills paid, but only after trying to claim that my injuries were from a pre existing medical condition ( my kidney failure).
It took almost 2 years to settle what should have been done in days.

As far as they house insurance, after they screwed us over with the car insurance,I checked into our homeowners policy. Turned out they were charging us 3 times the amount every other insurance company quoted us.

I switched and am saving over $1400 a year for the exact same coverage.

Good hands with Allstate? Only if you are an idiot like I was.

The thing about insurance companies.....you don't know if one is good or bad until you actually have to use them.

That kid has obviously never came out of a lake with 20 leaches attached to his leg; having no clue they were there while he was in the water.

    KIM,

YEAH, THAT is one area where they could have fixed the insurance industry. For example, there is NO SUCH THING as cash value/whole life/universal value, etc.... insurance! It is a SCAM to sell insurance. AND, though even the insurance comissioners may balk at what I just said, they might say what the insurance commissioners office says about "dividends"! The INSURANCE industry says they are 4+% yields you get on your money. The insurance COMMISSIONER's office says they are "RETURN OF EXCESS PREMIUM PAID". Still, the must damning thing against them, and proof of my claim, is their policies. They say, often, that the INSURANCE is 1 year renewable TERM insurance. The "cash value" is built up because they charge you much more for the "insurance".

And my last insurance company tried to pull the "PEC" claim on ME also! SUPPOSE I were rich, and didn't know my rights! I was LIVID! And they ACTUALLY have "errors and omissions insurance", so they can freely lie! They will try to get you to believe the insurance pays 14%, for example.

In 1994, many insurers insured a TON of homes, in california, and nearly went bankrupt! ONE managed to have the court clear their books. They took the money but really never paid the claims. Where are they NOW? NOW, they are even into BANKING!
