what TV shows are you watching?

I'm just wondering if anyone's watching, has watched, or knows of any cool TV shows that are out there???

I'm following a bunch of them, waiting for the next season to start up. I know of the more popular ones out there. So if it's really popular don't worry I've heard of it. But if you know of something less known that is still a really cool show let me know. (I hate cop, csi, and anything to do with detective shows)

I found a few recently ie:

- ultimate survival alaska
- Reign
- doomsday preppers (kinda got boring after a while, after you realize everyone that's on the show it nuts.)
- Mountain men
- Vikings
- the ultimate fighter
- boardwalk empire
- the walking dead

So what are you watching??

      Hate cop shows, eh!

Yep, cop, detective and any English show, that runs around ugly English houses, and keeps saying thousand pounds all the time!

I fear that l am getting thousand pounds burnt into my brain at the moment!

Although they did do a show in Australia, with more English and British currency, groan!

We gave up pounds more than 50 years, ago, we don't need to be constantly reminded of that!!!

But getting back to the subject, after tuning for the dogs breakfast digital tv, it is still crap. But hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow, but l doubt it!

Seems like a conspiracy to force everyone to buy digital tv's, that have tuners in them that actually work, not the crap, cheap ones that don't!

But beyond that l only watch the Block, (probably won't be able to access that one outside AU, but no harm trying).

There is also this, that you can access; l have enjoyed watching them again, and it you click on the Wikipedia, one first you can figure out which one to watch next!

      Enjoy!

There is a movie length, HD version of the first one, somewhere, (might be here) but the rest are here!

Unfortunately couldn't find "Time Tunnel" online, but maybe one day! Sniff!

    My list:

    Arrow
    Big Bang Theory
    Brooklyn Nine Nine
    Community
    Continuum
    Episodes
    House of Cards
    House of Lies
    Orange is the New Black
    Perception
    Ray Donovan
    Scandal
    Shameless
    The Blacklist
    The Following
    The Newsroom
    Walking Dead

Continuum would be an example of one that might escape attention, but is a really good find. It is a sci-fi show about an unintentionally time-traveling cop (ok, it it about a cop...) who finds herself in a unique position to combat a bunch of time-traveling terrorists.

Also, Shameless is great fun. It stars William H Macy as an all-out drunk and father-of-many kids who are left to fend for themselves in a rough Chicago neighborhood. It sounds awful until you know that the kids are not victims - they know their dad is a loser and find all sorts of good, bad and creative ways to cope.

What is it about the walking dead????

Isn't it just a couple of million zombies, with a brain fetish, wandering aimlessly about while a group of people try to get somewhere or do something?????

If you haven't heard yet, they are re-naming the show.
          It will now be called:

          "People Talking"
          (And sometimes zombies show up!)

I never could get myself to finish watching Breaking Bad.
Watched all the way to the final episode and went "eh".
Really after the Gus arc-- He was the only character I liked--
          watching it was a chore.

At the moment I'm not excited about anything except
House of Cards. I remember watching the original growing-up,
and maybe it's because I'm not a young child anymore, or
maybe it's because Kevin Spacey is awesome, and I was always
in-love with the Princess Bride? But I freaking love that show!

Walking Dead... it really isn't about the zombies. It is about the people, and how they handle their humanity being progressively stripped away by the unrelenting zombie waves. And, people talk. It is one of the things that defines us as humans. Without words, it would be a lot harder to have a compelling show.

Breaking Bad... not for everyone, granted. But personally, I don't see how you can possibly get through most of the series and then lose interest at the end. I thought the entire series was compelling, but the last couple of seasons is where it really, truly got personal for me. Where I struggled most with my feelings for the main characters, became spiritedly emotionally tied to their outcomes. Truly one of the great shows of our time.

As for Walking Dead, I like it enough to watch it.
But I tend to fast-forward through the most lame drama scenes.
I've only just started Season 2, but I refuse to ever watch another
scene with Carol in it, lol

Breaking Bad... eh. Just wasn't impressed. Friends got me to
watch the first couple of seasons, and I really liked Gus.
After that it was a chore forcing myself to watch it...
I just couldn't stand any of the characters, they were all
      so completely stupid.

Oh, except for Saul Goodman! That man cracks me up. :p

Right so similar to Time Tunnel, where the actors enjoyed doing it because of the social interaction, but unfortunately that series was canned, because of too much talk and not enough action?

When I saw the title of this thread I thought of the questions that the I.R.S. is now asking conservatives when they are audited: Some other questions they are asking are:

        1. What is the content of your prayers?

        2. What books do you read?

        etc. etc. etc.

To answer YOUR question.... I am watching the old shows on ME TV and ANTENNA TV and another channel that has the old Andy Griffith shows on them.

I still haven't watched the final episode, because I'm sure
it is going to be disappointing.

But then my expectations might be too high. The only thing
that could save the series for me would be if Walt Jr. throws
off his crutches and walks away, Kaiser Sose style.

Yes, they have said this series will take place prior to the BB timeline. Although, I do believe they plan to incorporate some other characters from the BB universe periodically, like Badger and Skinny Pete.

It's gonna be epic. Or awful. Hopefully epic.
