If a magic genie could make you the ultimate master of three skills, which would you choose?

Don't list generic skills like "getting traffic." Instead choose a specific skill that will get you traffic like SEO.

So what do you guys think, which skill sets would you choose to be the best at?

This thread will either be really good or really banal. :p

  • Ppc because most platforms offer it in some form or another and ad copy writing because the traffic won't make you much of a difference if the WORDS on the landing page don't move the visitor to the point of conversion.

As for a third, an extreme business mindset especially when it comes down to getting things done without allowing distractions to get in your way.

I would suggest thinking "outside of the IM box" if you can be the ultimate master of any three skills. Think . . . the ultimate master. The best in the world. At THREE things! How about being the world's best baseball, basketball or football player? How about the world's greatest inventor? The world's best musician? Doctor? Diplomat? Physicist? If you're going to dream, dream BIG.

The original question that started this thread sort of implied internet marketing related...

BUT the one skill needed to be mastered is the ability to gain instant rapport with any person.

If you really think about it, everything that we get ultimately manifests/comes through other people so in order to secure the cooperation of others it is of extreme importance to be able to enter into instant rapport with them.

This along with a thorough understanding of the laws of attraction should be required learning in all schools as it permeates through all other areas of life like parenting, business, marriage, teaching, governing, etc.

Theres no need for more skills because this one skill backed by a thorough understanding of the laws of attraction requires you to master yourlower self which tends to lead us astray

That's why I had to mention thinking outside confines of IM. Staying inside an implied box is a self-imposed limitation. That's the trouble with the way a lot of people think, myself included at times, we create our own limitations by accepting implied parameters.

BUT the one skill needed to be mastered is the ability to gain instant rapport with any person.
Yes, that would be a useful skill.

The "law of attraction" is a nebulous concept. If by that you mean the law of cause and effect, I'll agree with you. If you mean it in any other way you'll have to explain what you mean for me to make a relevant comment because from what I've seen, there are 50,000 definitions of this supposed law and most of them amount to wishful thinking.

Yes, but in one situation you KNOW it's wishful thinking, and in the other, you don't.

Karen, judging by your posts, you're doing pretty well as it is regarding that first wish. And if you're a connoisseur of good red wine, I'd say that's already a strong indication of sensible time management.

As for the headaches, the secret is they occur only when you stop drinking.

The 3 skills, (since IM wasn't included in the heading) would be...

      • Learn how to make a great wish.

      • Learn how to say the perfect wish, so it isn't misinterpreted.

      • Wish for half a trillion!

Being a genie isn't a skill? Have you any idea what it takes to spend eons cooped up in a cramped bottle or rusty lamp, just waiting for some schmuck to let you out and claim untold riches for the simple act of being in the right place and knowing how to rub something?

No skill? Try having to listen to the same old unimaginative roll call of wishes throughout countless millennia - money, fame, sex, a date with Riffle, blah, blah, blah... and treating each pathetic one as if it were the first time you heard it. Such diplomacy is more than a skill - it's an ART!

No skill? Have you actually tried to get those slippers to curl that much at the toes, and not have them spring back as soon as they're released from the lamp?

And do any of these wish recipients return to say thanks? Do they heck. They don't care what happens to some washed up spirit they've just rendered homeless. No skill, indeed.

When the genies' union call their all-in (the bottle) strike, it's on your head!

You are already a master of 3 skills

        1) Master of Selling
        2) Master of Local Online Marketing
        3) Master of talking bull-crap on the Off Topic Forum

That's why I already call you Master, Master.

        Mine would be:

        1) Master of making automated money making websites
        2) Master of living the rest of my life in a luxury stateroom with a balcony touring the world in a Royal Caribbean Cruise-ship (with a casino).

If you spend some time investigating and understanding the fable of the genie and the 3 wishes you might attain something you can use in your life to positive effect.

This here is the fundamental problem. People waiting for the "genie" i.e. something outside of themselves.....

    1. I would wish for genies that find and recruit other genies for me and would train other genies to continually do this for me. (each would grant me 3 wishes)<--unlimited wishes!

    2. I would train my genies to be able to know and even predict my desires and fulfill them on autopilot without further instruction.
