What is the best song that The Beatles have ever written?
#off topic forum #beatles
  • If I'm not mistaken, there was a poll of the greatest songs of all time done a few years ago and it had "Yesterday" as the highest ranked Beatles song at #11 (I think), but John Lennon's "Imagine" was actually 2 spots higher at #9.

I love the Beatles music. There aren't many that I could really say I don't like. I grew up on it from the time I was very young. My brother was a fanatic who was fortunate to have seen them in concert when he was 14.

I suppose if I had to choose one it would be "Yesterday", though the "Back in the USSR/Dear Prudence" combo from the "White Album" is excellent, too. "Revolution", "Get Back", "In My Life", "Hide Your Love Away", "Here Comes The Sun", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", etc, etc, etc. I could list 100 of the top of my head.
  • I am a huge Beatles fan and there are too many great songs to pick just one. There are so many@ Of the top of my head - Yesterday, Michelle, Imagine, Norwegian Wood, Nowhere Man, Please Mr Postman, PS I Love You, The Long and Winding Road........ oh gosh, I gotta go play some CDs now!
