  • OK, let me think...something shallow, faux profound, trite, dated, and basically irrelevant... That's a tough one... Maybe Forrest Gump.

  • Interesting question... one of the few times I wish I'd seen more movies. I haven't got a clue.

    • When it comes to a supreme alpha male such as yourself, maybe "The Lion King" or "Gladiator"?

  • Difficult question. "A Beautiful Mind." Maybe.

  • I'm waiting for someone to say "40 Year Old Virgin".

  • Mr. Hollands Opus because sometimes we just don't realize how many people in our lives we affect.

    Or Forest Gump.

    • Ghost Busters. Maybe Broke Back Mountain.

added a few minutes later. I just read that Harold Ramis, who was in Ghost Busters, died. Sad.

  • I think a combination of Ben Hur, It's a Wonderful Life, and maybe Apocalypse Now.

    Maybe... ask me later.

    • The da Vinci Coed

I asked my wife what movie I reminded here of. She said The Night Of The Living Dead.

      "Sniff...sniff"

    • "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

      Classic!

Less than 1 foot behind the monitor I am looking at is a framed large poster (not sure of measurements but I'd guess 3 feet by 5 feet at least) of "It's A Wonderful Life".

Like George Bailey I have a great appreciation of every day.

  • I can't think of any either. I've never seen a movie that is even relatively or in a humorous way close to my life.

    • I honestly can't either, but this thread gave me a chance to amuse myself (if nobody else) with a clumsy attempt at self-deprecating humor.

    • Hmmmm,

After giving it much thought, I really can't think of one that portrays my life, not even a smidgeon.

Maybe if we broke movies down to eras or phases, I could think of a few, but in totality, not a one.

  • If my life had to be a movie, maybe Mary Poppins. She was hot and kind of fun, with lots of magic thrown in. That'd be cool. It would be kind of odd for a movie to have a crush on an actress in it, but life is weird.

Good thing you did not pick (also a movie Claude starred in during the 70's): The Lady is a Tramp - Frank Sinatra - YouTube
