My Husky seemed to want to see if they tasted like wabbits.

This one wants to play.

Love it! The cat looks a little scared with its ears back.

The dog was adorable, but you're right David. That cat had no idea what to think about the pup. He was less than entertained, that's for sure.

The cat's hair stopped standing on end towards the end of the end of the video, so I think for the dog it was mission accomplished.

I think the cat was just trying to figure out what was going on. Towards the end, when the cat seemed to relax, the dog was in a resting position and the cat likely felt it was in little danger in any case.

I wonder how long they've known each other.
    Eventually they may become friends.

The way my purebred Husky reacted around cats - inside or outside - I
decided not to even try getting a cat.

The Husky/Shepherd/possible wolf mix I had before would
chase cats if they were outside. Try to sniff noses if they were
inside. And she would stop about 5 feet away from any cat that
was poised to swat her nose.

She was adopted by me when she was five. At the time, I had a male
cat for about 15 years. Those two never really became cuddly, playful
friends - but they did sniff noses everyday for about a minute in greeting.

After the cat died, the dog looked around for him for about three days
every time we came home. She did seem a bit sad, too.
