My Sons New Venture - Battle of the Bands and a New Song

My sons are starting-off on their own venture and could use some support as they get their Groove'On by entering the Battle of the Bands. (Guess they don't want to spend their days behind a computer like their father :rolleyes: ) They play acoustic and electric instruments in Country, Indie and Rock genres.

There favorite is Reason, maybe because its their first one, but they have a couple of other good ones. (Maybe I'm partial, but listen for yourself).

The more votes, the higher the Buzz.

They have written about 5 songs and have copyrights for them.

Every week they play here in town at a local restaurant.

One is a Senior and they other is Junior. They've placed or won in the last 3 talent shows they entered and sing in the Chorus at their high school.

If you can, listen to their song and give'em a Like, Share, Tweet, a Vote and a shout out.

Kids looking for a little help with social media.

    I like the sound of 'Reason'. Big congrats, lots of talent in the family! Gave them a vote & a Like on Facebook and left a comment on their page about their proud Dad's Warrior Forum promotion of their music. I got a 'like' back for the comment!

          After 3 days they have a small base of fans. It's a lot of work to promote your Fan Page or get Votes for your New Song. I suppose that's why some website owners hire SEO people.

          I never really did Social Marketing. Besides trying to promote their Page:

          -- it also takes a physical presence to get more Gigs by contacting venues/restaurants/events.

          So, for just starting out "The Brothers Tate" haven't done too bad (I don't think so anyway), after 3 days with a Facebook page and entering the Ernie Ball Battle of the Bands, they have gone from 10 Fans to over 300.

          It's a long song at 4 minutes, but to count it has to be played all the way thru. It's called "Reason". It's soft rock or Indie type of song. I think its Radio worthy. They've played it 3 different ways - acoustic, electric and a mix.

          They are 17 and 18. After playing for several years, they started to write their own music.

          Thank you to all of those that vote. Its cool to see a kids eyes light up when their Buzz Rating goes up or they get a new Like.
