    • Why does such weird stuff like that happen? It is the river phenomenon. Some twigs get taken into odd places, and people's minds can similarly be taken to odd places.

      Yeah, you're right, there really are not only other ways to make money, but make much more money. There still are door-to-door sales opportunities that pay great, but most people recoil from that for whatever reasons. One man who runs a medical equipment manufacturing company, told me that young attractive women selling hi-tech medical devices did much better than men did. Go figure...for something that is about advanced medical procedures, response from highly educated medical professionals was better for female sales reps (ie they sold much more) than male reps.

      Sounds like a short term business plan to me.

      Now, my brother is friends with a married couple. The husband's business just recently went down the drain. The wife stepped in catering to the online whims of an unusual fetish crowd. She sells certain clothing items and mails them the customer after she wears them ... and also on webcam does what a customer asks her to do. In some cases, they will buy the clothing that they want her to wear when she does these things and some of it's like ... cam of her preparing Thanksgiving dinner in her thong. lol.

      Some of them have spent over $1K in one evening and are regular customers. She's absolutely killing it. Making more money than her husband's business did.

  • If that's where she wants to make money, nothing wrong with it. For all those who look negatively on it, funny how nobody thinks twice that the huge male customer base makes such a thing possible in the first place.

    I like Suzanne's take. That way makes much more income for the long-term projects.

      Yes it is. After my brother told me about it, I investigated and was dumbfounded ... I never dreamed. Suffice it to say that a lot of households and college educations are being funded this way.
