What was your biggest fear you conquered?

For me, it was giving myself permission to start doing webinars when I launched my first $97 product.

I had always been super-scared of webinars (in real life, I'm very shy) and putting myself out there - I remembered I cried on air at the end because I realized, hey! I overcame myself! Woot!

Because that was a huge fear I chose to face.... I think that's one of my biggest personal successes. Not the product sale, mind you... but blasting past my comfort boundaries.

How about you?

I don't know if you would call this "conquered" or not, but...........
Fear of heights. I will go anywhere for good gemstones and a lot of times that means UP. Sometimes very close to straight up. Still bothers me to drive on some of those narrow passes with only one lane, or to climb around a lot of cliffy areas. I do it anyway. Still scares me crapless, though.

Hmmm. Can you spell r-e-l-a-p-s-e? You realize by saying this you have just created a target for those of us who come in here to relieve stress?

I'm so glad I wasn't on that webinar. I probably would have bought just to try to get you to stop crying. I'm such a sucker when women cry. LOL

A million kudos to you for getting past that. It's something that I haven't done yet, though my reasons aren't for fear. I just don't have a plan yet. Working on it. :-)

My biggest fear was writing articles. I'm a high school dropout with a 9th grade education, though I've gotten my GED, taken several correspondence and a few college courses and am an avid reader. Still, I was terrified that someone was going to be critical of my grammar. I know it's not perfect all the time, but it's better than a lot of people.

I think what's gotten me past that fear is the fact that there are many people making money online who's first language is not English. I recall getting emails from a few marketers where the grammar was just horrible, but these guys were all doing well despite that language barrier.

That finally gave me the courage to get past my fears.

    Webinars for me too :-)

The first time I did a webinar my voice was shaking.

Now it's one of my favorite things to do!
