Just thought I'd let any fellow Brits know that there's a programme on Amazons success tonight at 9 on BBC2. Might be an interesting watch. Bit late notice but just spotted it. British people do more of their shopping online than any other nation and last year tens of millions of Brits used Amazon to buy £4.5billion worth of goods. This film charts the fortunes of a company Jeff Bezos started in his garage in Bellevue, Washington state, 20 years ago and which grew into a £100billion global giant, revolutionising attitudes to online business and transforming the way people shop.
