Ok here is the problem

I recently made a thread in the Main Internet Marketing Discussion Forum

The very last post on that thread I was accused of doing something in a previous thread that i did not do - ie link to my sig 3 times and also link to a membership site.

I made a post following theirs 100% disproving their accusations. I then sent them a pm pointing out my reply and asked if they would like to comment.

Within minutes my reply was deleted and theirs left as the last post making it look like I did the things they accused me of.

They are blatantly lying and abusing their position and their is nothing I can do about it.

I tried to make a new thread asking people about warriors abusing their position and guess what yea it was deleted.

i wonder how long this post will stay up for

Here's hoping

    Anton,

I'm only going to reply to this one post and I'm not going to answer your PMs. That's because you've escalated this from merely saying you thought I made a mistake to now saying I lied and abused my position (whatever position that is). You're starting multiple threads on the issue and even dredged up one of my old posts.

Let's end this. I'm going to explain this ONCE, but that's it. I won't fan the flames after this post.

Here's my original post in your thread:

I went ahead and checked out the thread you mention in the post above. You point to your signature link at least three times and mention your membership site at least once in that thread. In other words, you're original "I'm making money" thread looks self-promotional.

Then you link to that thread from another unrelated thread. Yep, that's going to look like you're promoting a thread (one that probably gets you sig file clicks since you're telling people to click on your sig file).

So we can't say for sure why your post was deleted -- maybe because it was off topic, maybe because of the smell of self-promotion, etc. Who knows.

However, add this tip to the new knowledge you're acquiring and applying today: Avoid pointing to your sig file. Folks know it's there and they'll click if you want. If you tell people to go there, then your post is turning towards promotion rather than discussion.
Please reread paragraph one of the quoted text above. Three times I used the word THREAD. Not "post." And certainly not "original post." THREAD.

And so yes, if we look at your "I'm making money" THREAD, you do refer to your sig in three different posts in that thread. I'm not going to look that THREAD up to see which three posts those are, as you or anyone else can do it just as easily.

In other words, no mistake. You seem to have misread my post and thought that I said you referred to your sig line three times in your ORIGINAL POST. I never said that as you can plainly see in the quoted text above. I said you referred to it three times in your THREAD.

    Cheers,
    Becky

    my apologies

I did make the mistake and thought you reffered to my original post.

I have checked and you are correct although honestly I did not realise what I was doing

A swift lesson learned here folks

I was so het up about defending my position i jumped in with both feet.

All I can say that i admire the way you have handled this Becky and I hope it makes me a better warrior
