I've recently been put into a position at my company that I have not done before. I am now in charge of hiring people, but other than Craigslist, don't really have any idea on how to start or what to do.

Is there anyone here with experience that could give me some advice on what to do to succeed? Anything that has worked extraordinarily well for them? This is for more quantity of employees and not necessarily quality.

This job really means a lot to me, so I really want to succeed!

Craigslist may be the LAST place to look. Where you look depends on the kind of person you are looking for.

Tell more about your business and nature of work/employees needed.

Maybe craigs list IS the best way to go. HEY, there may not be many comfortable with cold calling. By asking open ended questions on the phone and in person, you can FURTHER limit it. If it is primarily commission or pay per prospect/customer, you don't have much to lose.
