This a bit of a promotional video for RV'ing. What I found interesting was how the different RV'es make money while traveling.

I love to travel - but actually living on the road? I'm not sure I would love it.

I would love it. My preferred method of travelling is head in a direction and see what I find. The longest I have RV'd at a time is 4-5 weeks - and I wasn't ready to go home!

Doing it alone would mean doing all the driving and that's the part I don't care for. I want an RV that lifts off the ground and flies to the next campsite. Is that asking too much?

To me the trick is to either have a smaller RV, a motorcycle or similar rides, or tow a small car. Exploring small towns and tourist spots in a big rig can be tricky.

I'm not surprised they find ways to earn a living. The couple that talked about taking chances was right - you don't spread your wings till you jump off the cliff. If you commit to doing something - that's when it starts to fall into place.

living on the road is challenging yet amazingly rewarding... give it a go and you'll know

A large, fully-equipped RV is definitely more my idea of camping. I'd love to be able to go on the road with one, but when you get tired of it, there's nothing like returning to your own home until you want to go again. Camping in a tent is too rustic for me.

I move relatively often and like it, but I like the features of a stationary home. I like baths - I like a space that I can set up for working on my projects, many of which I couldn't do mobile. I am thinking a tiny home with a shop in the yard would probably be the best solution for me in the long run. Especially one that can be moved if I so desire. Contant travel without a home base to me is wearisome. I can do long periods of it, but still want that home base to drop down at.

I'm sure some people take to the constant mobile life like a duck to water - but I have had enough travel to know that it's not right for me. I need a combo of travel and stationary life. Each to their own, huh? I could do the constant travel if I had to, but it wouldn't be as pleasant for me as having a home base.

I've known two couples that lived "on the road" and they didn't travel all the time. They had places where they spent hot months and other places where they would settle in for winter.

I'm sure there are those who move every few days but the ones I knew who were full time RVers considered the RV "home"

I've seen some tiny homes that I really like but the ones I've seen have less space than most RVs. The tiny homes are often on wheels (to avoid building restrictions) so it's a bit like a travel trailer. I think it's would be cool to see you trucking down the road towing a tiny home with a tiny shed following along behind it.

I think RVing would be fun, especially while working online. We might have to try this out, at least for a few months.

I watched the video earlier today & checked craigslist, there's a lot of reasonably priced RVs/campers on there. I imagine winter would be even lower prices. Buy low in the winter, If you don't like the lifestyle sell the RV for a profit in late summer.
