Fair play to Costa Rica, beating Italy, they thoroughly deserved it. Not good for England though!

    Yep, disappointing as always. Not much more to say really except it will just be the same old excuses and nothing will change. Next Euros or world cup no doubt we'll hear about the squad being more in harmony than the last time, lessons being learnt, more confident blah blah blah. Then we'll just get back to normal and disappointingly bow out in the second round having learnt nothing. I hope I'm wrong.

    I just hope that even though we're out, when we play Costa Rica we just go on the attack and pick the pace up and show some spirit like the two minutes straight after Rooney scored last night. I'd rather that and lose than watch another dull England performance trying not to lose more than trying to win. In my opinion, since 98, we've just been boring to watch except for one game that I can think of.

    I don't particularly like the Germans, excuse my French, but I do envy their fans because they always get value for their money.
