Michelle Wie answered her critics today by winning her first of many majors, the US Women's Open at Pinehurst #2. Heralded as a future champion as a kid, she struggled to meet absurdly high expectations. Those days are long gone now:

    I have always been a fan of Michele and it's great to see her win a major --> but I also loved seeing 11-year-old Luci Li qualify for the Open! At least she was able to whack it around for the first two rounds at 'ol Pinehurst No. 2.
