Eli Wallach star of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and a host of other spaghetti westerns, and more recently, City Slickers, has passed away aged 98.

    Forgot to add he was also in The Magnificent Seven. In fact he has quite an impressive resume. His first film was in 1956 (Baby Doll) right through to 2010's Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps. Add to that TV show appearances between 1949 and 2009, he's left behind him quite a legacy.

    He also received a host of awards including BAFTA's, Emmy's, Tony's and an honorary Oscar.

      Yeah, we've discussed his role in that movie before. Wallach's performance helps make that film the classic that it is.

    My favorite movie of all time. Eli Wallach was a great actor and made that movie great. Did you know that Charles Bronson was cast for that role? but was busy working on another movie.
