"Headbanging" is supposed to be a figurative expression. You aren't really supposed to bang your head.

Just saw the headbanging report on CNN and they talked about blood clots, carotid artery tears, whiplash, air leaks in the lungs, neck fractures etc.

My wife and I have been headbanging for 35 years and have no plans of stopping anytime soon. Sore necks are the only injuries we have suffered so far.

    Cheers

Yep. I've had quite a few of them in my time. Nowadays I mostly listen to prog rock, but occassionally pull out some classic Sabbath, Motörhead, Priest or similar. As soon as it comes on, the old head immediately starts "banging" along with it. It can't be prevented.

Why do garden gnomes smell so bad?
So that blind people can hate them as well.

While I like a ton of music genres Nu Metal and Alternative Metal are the biggest headbangers for me these days. Korn is my fav, and nope, it can't be prevented. I did listen to my share of Paranoid, Ironman, Snowblind and the rest back in the day. I like Ozzy but I was also a big Dio fan. I have never been a huge Motörhead man but Ace of Spades still kicks my ass on Rockband to this day.

I still love seeing the rock shows live and later this month I am going to see Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Trivium, Mushroomhead, Asking Alexandria and some others. I have seen them all before --> but it's hard to get enough of Korn and Avenged Sevenfold so I try not to miss them when the come anywhere near my area.

Anyway, here is a head banging shot from the last time I saw Five Finger Death Punch.

        Cheers
