Shame that the title refers to WarriorForums.com instead of WarriorForum.com.

Acquisition is misspelled in the title, also.

Stopped reading after "Freelander.com" in the second paragraph.

Acquisition is actually correct. But I agree about forums being wrong.

Spelling of "Forums" to "Forum" fixed. Thank you for feedback.
Please enjoy his answers. They are interesting. I wish he gave more insights on the negotiation between his company and Allen.

Make sure to get your own copy delivered if you like. Made it free.

Yes, I see acquisition is right in the title, not the links. Thanks for clarifying that.

    3. Glad to see that you have reduced prices for membership, and WSO.
    Interviewer has incorrect info.

WSO's, yeah, but certainly not membership price.

Price was 30$? no? Now it's 20$ but yearly.

        Aire,

        That statement is incorrect.

The price used to be a one-time payment of $37 for 20 years.

The new price now is $97 per year.

        Big difference.

At the time of the interview, I'm sure the membership fee for the War Room was the $20/yr price that freelancer changed it to for awhile after they bought the site. They have since raised it to $97. Most of us know that by now.

The article has todays date on it.

I was judging my reply by this response from Matt, as it must have been a fairly recent interview by the way he discusses all the changes.

I do remember the short time frame when there was the $20/yr option.

The article doesn't state what the membership fee actually is.

Before we did anything, Alaister (the new Warrior GM) reached out to the community to ask what their top priorities where with the site. Overwhelmingly, the top response was to fix the infrastructure, because the site was getting so much traffic it was crashing almost daily. We immediately put a whole devops team and moved all the infrastructure across to Amazon Web Services, which is where we run our Freelancer.com nodes. We threw a tonne of new infrastructure, built out a new caching layer and booted up Akamai’s content delivery network.

The next big thing I really love is we introduced a weekly live streaming session with the best of the best in Internet Marketing. Each week we get Internet legends like Noah Kagan (Facebook’s 30th employee, #4 at Mint.com and is now the Chief Sumo at App Sumo), Sean Ellis (Founder and CEO of Qualaroo and Growth Hackers.com) and Matt Bacak (Highly regarded Internet millionaire who has helped hundreds make money online) to share their secrets, tips and tricks to get ahead, grow their business and make money online. Many of these guys are active on the site, and others got their start on Warrior, so it’s really fantastic to be able to shine a light on them and get them helping the community get to the next level in their business.

We have also created a new Warrior Forum banner advertising system that allows users and advertisers to better manage the creation and scheduling of ads.
ETA: OP didn't know what the price was.

The article was posted today, but I'm fairly certain that the interview wasn't conducted today. Doesn't matter. This thread should be more about the interview rather than the price of War Room membership which has been discussed to death.

Anyway ... @OP. Interesting interview. I'm still pretty much observing the changes, reading articles and wondering what the future has in store for Warrior Forum.

I simply commented as OP didn't have the correct membership figures.

@Suzzane, I agree with you. You are correct.

Lets discuss more about the interview.

Wouldn't it be more interesting to hear more about the interaction during negotiation.

If you are in US, the print copy of mag will be published next week and we can send it early. For overseas, it will arrive on first week of Aug.
