There is a new exploit to Adobe Flash Player - You should get the latest version at Adobe: Creative, marketing, and document management solutions -

From what I read if you use Chrome or IE then you are ok as they will update automatically - but FireFox and Safari need a patch right away.

    True. My FF has been crashing a lot lately and I've seen tons of people experiencing it too since the last update. I'm using Chrome for the meantime.

    Yes craighakwins -

    FF has been a pain for a while now - I have the latest version etc but it really believes it is the new IE and as such acts like a clunky dinosaur much of the time. Everything seems delayed - each execution of a command or even typing a line seems to have a delay.

    Not to mention Adobe Flash Reader frequently tries to do automatic updates and they often fail - leading to weird error messages along the way. Particularly yesterday when I ran the new installation of Adobe Flash, FireFox had 'fatal type errors' (frozen) all day - but it appears after a little clean up to have finally straightened out and is running quite snappy right now!

    I've stopped using IE ages ago and started using Firefox but found that slow loading so now I use Opera and no problems at all

      just updated and my Firefox seems to be running fine - no problems - it really depends too on what add-ons and extensions you use - I keep mine to a minimum and it seems to be stable
