WELCOME to the 21st century!
In the latest police thugs act of the 21st century:
Apparently, this person broke up a fight and was simply minding his own business. Supposedly, the police accused him of selling non tax stamped cigarettes.
In the US, it is illegal to sell non-indian cigarettes without paying a tax to the federal government which is indicated by a tax stamp on the package. This is NOT an offense a person should die over, and he clearly wasn't selling them in large amounts, if at all.
Anyway, he said that he was just minding his own business and wanted to be left alone, and FOUR police ganged up to him, one holding him in a choke hold. Although the screams of "I can't breath" seem disingenuous, he was supposedly asthmatic. Asthmatics may have a pulmonary system that is VERY inefficient and have to use a nebulizer, or oxygen, to help. So the police attacked him in three dangerous ways by exerting him, upsetting him, and placing him in a choke hold.
In any event, the police obviously didn't care, even when they had control over his movement.
And the thought that several others would just ask others t back up, especially knowing that some are doing nothing wrong, YIKES!
