      I was thinking the same thing
      Funnest thing I ever did was back in the 70's when I had a Kaw 750 triple.
      I went by a cop car doing around 130 mph. Up the road a ways I pulled over waiting for him to show up and give me a ticket. Next thing I know the cop car goes flying by me with their lights on and siren blaring. I did wave when they went by, then got on my bike and continued home.

        Neighbors (both husband and wife are on a car racing circuit) of my desk clerk sped
        by a sheriff in their little BMW convertible. The wife was driving and saw the sheriff
        turning around. She hightailed it home and slid into the half open garage. Since then
        they have noticed more patrols on the frontage road.

    Or a helicopter. Traveled across country and they use radar in the sky to nab you. You'll be surprised how quickly you can get caught.

    What did he do? And tasering a guy that is running is DANGEROUS! If he is running on something hard, like asphalt. or near things like animals or cars, it is even MORE dangerous! A taser is far more lethal!

        This guy is a treat - here's what he says:

        "I do not use license plates, driver's license, pay taxes, do anything that would bring me into the corporate America system," Hawkes, a sovereign citizen who also sells bongs made out of bamboo, told Hawaii News Now.
        So - the laws don't apply to him. Though he also says his first act "after being elected mayor" will be to outlaw the use of tasers. Wonders if he plans for police to use light sabers???


        A police officer pulled Hawkes over on Haleakala Highway on Wednesday morning for not having a license plate on his car and talking on his cell phone, according to Maui Now, who interviewed Hawkes after the incident.



        Hawkes told the cop that he didn't need a license plate because he was a "private individual," adding that he had a "right to use my cell phone if I'd like" because the "anti-cell phone law was enacted without the consent of we the people."


        But, according to Hawkes' account, he didn't have time to discuss the matter further. He was late for a GMO meeting, so sped off down the highway, cop in tow.



        Hawkes made it to the meeting -- GMO's are a hot topic on Maui. But when he was leaving, an officer approached him in the parking lot, told him to freeze and put his hands up.
        They should have tased him twice - once for running away and once for being an idiot.
