Trying to invest 20k looking for ideas.

So I have some money to invest in a business, what I have in mind is something in the sales industry or the computer industry as that is where my background is.

I thought I would make a thread on here as I know ALL of you are business minded people that always have great ideas.

So to make the question a little more approachable I will ask this, "If you had 20k and wanted to start a business in sales and or computers where would you start."

      Over here, race 7 is normally some dodgepot race, the last on the card, comprising a group of "old stinkers" (as we call them, here) whose form is so unreliable and crooked that they can't even put together a series of two consecutive races with comparable runs. Otherwise known as "a total lottery, John, innit?". Please excuse my voting for an earlier race (but don't back the favourite in a handicap unless you have "inside information" because they're normally poor value and overbacked in the market. Just saying ... ).

    Find a real need in your market area and expertise and fill it.

    Run the numbers to make sure it is real.

    Maybe spend a little on marketing materials.

    Don't invest that 20K or view it as something to cover
    personal and business expenses - it goes up like a flame.
    Get actual sales and pay from customers.

      Stockmarket or dropshipping, both will probably take months or years of blowing cash and learning, but you will probably end up well off or rich in the end.
