There's nothing left except getting some sleep later, waking up, getting dressed and such and then leaving for our four day weekend get away to celebrate our 31st anniversary.

Wow! Where has the time gone?

Anyway, when I'm gone, you'll know why, lol!

        Thanks Gasen, but I don't like beer. But don't frown, hubby covered that one for you. As for me, it was a, I believe they call it a spiff, of Asti for me. Or more...but hubby made me do it! I swear! It was for a good cause, 31 years after all, he said.

    So glad you had a good time. Our anniversary is on Monday. That'll be 9 years married, but 13 years together. Nothing fancy planned. We're going to her favorite BBQ place, Famous Dave's, and back to work the next day.

    Her birthday is on the 31st, though. We may go somewhere for a couple days that weekend.

    I'm going to tell her exactly how I feel this year...(static). :-)

      Oh, and definitely do a getaway! Amazing things happen when you do. For instance, while we were gone, hubby said a couple of things to me that were just so, well, amazing.

      The first thing that caught my attention because I wasn't sure how to take it was, "One of the things I love about you is that after 31 years, you're still turning heads."

      But then it got a little better. I think...He later said to me, "Oh my God, I think I'm falling in love with you all over again!"

      Haha! Does that mean he fell out of love with me?

    Well - here is a beautiful love story - that, if it doesn't cheer you up, will certainly make you glow for a few minutes if you are like me.

    This is very common for two people married for years to die at the same time of unrelated causes. It has happened again! So beautiful.

    Today: Couple Of 62 Years Held Hands Until The Very End, Dies 4 Hours Apart

    Wow I just found another couple last month.

      And funny you should bring that up. While we were gone, I told hubby he couldn't pass before I did, because I wouldn't be able to handle it if he did, so he'd have to wait until after I did.

      And he said, No way, I'll just go at the same time as you. Awww!
