This movie is killing it.

"The numbers kept going up and up and up all day for the "coolest & weirdest #1 blockbuster" starring little-known superheroes with running jokes and 1970s pop songs and the most untested and uncertain property yet to come out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Disney/Marvel’s pulpy space adventure Guardians Of The Galaxy – opened with a huge $37.8M Friday and a gigantic $91.5M-$92.3M first domestic weekend from 4,080 theaters."

Great reviews on Metacritic, IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, wow!

My movie snob friend said it's the best time he has had at a movie...ever!

"An original even surprising and certainly risky project from producer/top executive Kevin Feige, Guardians Of The Galaxy falls into what Marvel Studios has dubbed Phase II that broadens its cinematic universe to include new heroes and villains, many of them not household names. These characters have been around for decades in the pages of Marvel Comics, even though they didn’t come together until 2008 as the GOTG (which prior to that was the name of a group of crimefighters in the 31st Century of an alternate Marvel Universe)."

I just got back from seeing. Best movie from Marvel ever.

Absolutely a must see experience. You don't have to be a superhero fan at all. If you like any of the Star Wars, you'll love it.

After the credits, there's a scene too.

What if they're not stars? What if they are holes poked in the top of a container so we can breath?

I knew you had gone to see that this afternoon.

Claude not posting, where is he, ah it's obvious, Guardians of The Galaxy just released.

So I got on my Ouija board and my Guardian Angel confirmed it.

Rotten Tomatoes gave it 92 percent. Good enough for me.

Hmmmm, you sure about that? It just looks like that trashy Allstars movie, (the one with the guy, that is a whiz with a shovel, etc) mixed in with a computer animated fox, as a comedy relief?

I would give it two Claude's out of 7, unless l get convinced.

PS l did see the trailer for this when l recently went to see, the Apes movie. The feeling l got from the handful of people in the cinema, (including me) was, hmmm, don't know about that one?

I can see why the critics gave the apes movie such a high rating, great story. But l thought that the first one was better, more interesting.

The apes one had too much rainforests, and the storeyline was to much like the last Planet of the Apes movie, (70's version).

I might give the above movie 3 Claudes if the visuals are 5 star, but time will tell?

Pretty sure. I watched the movie. Maybe after you actually watch the movie, your review will change.

I also saw Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes, and thought it was incredibly well done.

Claude, seriously, for the last time, those aren't Planet of the Apes movies you're watching. They're Whitacre Family Reunion videos.

Raising a child is akin to knowing you're getting fired in 18 years and having to train your replacement without actively sabotaging them.

Yes. And my wife said that she would appreciate it if you would stop pleasuring yourself, as you watch them.

Now, go to your room, until you learn some manners. And leave the Kleenex box in the living room.

                  Kids these days.

Claude, did you ever stop and think how your wife would know I was supposedly doing that? Wouldn't she need to be present?

She just watched the jail security footage, like everyone else.

Was the "Dolby" logo on the left, middle, or right side? I like to stay and look for those too. You don't need to be a fan of any genre to watch the credits, which is kinda cool.

I almost went out to see a kind of premier on it. I had no idea until today that vin diesel was in it.

Apparently his fans wanted to see him in a marvel film earlier, and his kids liked the idea. "My name is GROOT! WHAT a part! I wonder what the action is like. SO FAR, I have liked EVERY film that I saw, that he was in.
